Web Forms :: Pageload Event Not Firing When Gridrow Button Is Clicked Second Time

Gridrow Button click loads aspx Page1 which is a Modal window(window.showmodaldialog). It has an ascx in it called UC1. In my Page1 following is added.
<head><base target ='_self'/></head>(this was added to solve the problem of losing session data on load of Page1) I cannot do away without this code.
I am assuming this is avoiding Pageload event of Page1 when the same gridrow button, who opens up Page1, is clicked the second time. Please note that after second click I can see the page1 with all it's controls but when I try to debug, I see that it does not raise the page load event the second time. It's as thought the page had been cached or the same frame is gettign loaded.
Problem is I want to raise the Page load event the second time also beacuse my dataload for Page1 happens only on page load. PS: Please note only the second click onwards page load doesn't happen. the first time pagelaod works. If I click a new row's button the first time it works.. later it stops doing a pageload
I have the following code and no matter what I do onclick event for button is not firing. I tried deleting the button, the pages. Redid the code. Moved the web project to a different computer and nothing. It worked a few hours ago.
The whole thing is in a form, and it doesnt postback when this button is clicked. Im no good with javascript, but i got a feeling thats not the problem.

However, I have a few steps that use the RequiredValidator control, which when the cancel button is clicked these validators are also fired. Also I have these steps inside User Controls as a oppose to being on one page. How do I stop these validator controls from firing when the cancel button is clicked?
I have a button that has click event in my C#. This works great. However afetr pressing F5 to refresh the page I noticed the button event is fired. This occurs every time I click F5. I've added if(page.IsPostBack) and the method still runs.
Is there any way to stop method from firing when the F5 Refresh button is clicked?
I am generating UserName based on FirstName.LastName after that I am hitting the database and checking if this username (Like AAA.BBB) exists or not if not then I am generating email address, if yes then it is thorowing error which is correct. And after this when I changed the username (Like AAA.BBBC) and hit enter or tab then again it should check the database and generate the email but it is not doing any thing means I think I am missing the cursor control or Second time TextBox_TextChanged event is not firing.

i have a page on which i dynamically add multiple datalist controls on the oninit event of my page , on postabck i again add all these datalist controls to the page on oninit event
the template for all the datalist controls is defined using the ITemplate interface, the template defined for each datalist control contains a button which has a event handler attached to onclick event.
the problem is first time i click the button on postback i add the multiple datalist controls , the event gets fired which modifies the datatable i am using to generate my datalist controls and the datalist controls with the modified data show on the page but the second time a user clicks the button inside datalist the event does not get fired.
I have to create columns dynamically based on a datatable, some field type info and some header texts.
I do that by creating templates.
It created the grid fine and all looks good, however when i click a checkbox and the checkedchanged event fires then something odd happens
The first time i click its fine and i get the expected values in the event
But the second time then the event gets fired with the values from the first time and then again with the values from the checkbox that i actually clicked.. The third time the event gets fired 3 times, first 2 times with the old values and the third with the correct value.

Obviously I am a total noob and this is simple to some of you, but I can not figure out why the rest of the sub works, but the button1.Text="Uploading, Please Wait..." seems to be completely ignored.
The button is supposed to change text when clicked but no method I have tried works with my page.

I have a accordion control inside an update panel. As I loop through the Products table and the Details table in the code behind, I'm creating the accordion panes that will display the data. There's an "Add to Cart" button created for each product (each accordion pane), and I'm asigning an EventHandler for that button, but it never fires... Here's the code where I'm creating and adding the button to the page:

I have page on which I've a login control in which I've a subnit button. The problem is this that when I refresh the that page the submit button or any button that was clicked last before page refresh gets its click event automatically fired.
I have couple of [WebMethods] in my code behind and using jquery ajax to get data from server. And then it happens :). After some time while page is inactive when i try to click on button which should have send request to server it simply does nothing for about half of minute and only then event is fired and i get response from server.
I have a UserControl, which has few textboxes, RequiredFieldValidator and a submit button. Every thing was working fine and now suddenly the button click event stopped working.If i set the CauseValidation= false for button, then it s working fine, but i can not do that because i want user to enter some value in the textbox.I investigated that it might be RequiredFieldValidatoe which is stopping the button to postback, but why its doing like that if you have entered the values in textboxes.
Am adding a sample webpart dynamically in which i add a Button Control.the isssue is Event is getting fired when i Click on the scond time and the other issue is the web parts are getting duplicated for each postback.
I am creating two buttons within the StoryGet() method, first when the page loads. When one of the buttons is pushed, lets say the left one - I want to call another method - "ButtonLeft_Click"
Ive used this same solution in other sites and it worked. With this solution, click event never fires.
If I move the StoryGet() call from Page_Load to PageInit() the button event fires, but because this event also calls StoryGet() the method runs twice, which I don't want.
I tried adding this to page_init so the original StoryGet() method only gets run the first time the page loads unless the method is called directly but then the page loads, but the button click event doesn't run again

The DIV is unhidden with jQuery ($('#hiddenDiv').show()). Why would the button work when it starts out visible, but not when it started out hidden and was made visible in jQuery?
I have Onclientclick event attached to the button in serverside code like below,

The serverside click event should fire if the onclientclick javascript function return true. The "ValidateData()" function is called to validate the entries in the form. This code is working fine in IE. But in Firefox, both events are not firig. If I remove the line "TopPanelButton.OnClientClick =..." then onClick event is firing.

apparently they are not firing on first try. The reason i am doing this is the two views have tables with different images to be used in building my menu.
What am i doing wrong? or why is the click event firing on second try?
I have a aspx page, default.aspx, with an user control in it. Inside the user control (UC 1) there is a DataGrid. When the DataGrid is loading data with ItemDataBound, I need to dynamically load another user control (UC 2) for each row in the DataGrid. UC 2 has a Button ( BTN )with an eventhandler associated with it in code behind.
User control loading is fine, and the Button, BTN, is there. However, when I click the Button, the eventhandler is not reached, not firing, even though the page does postback. I googled for this issues, and I know the dynamically loaded user controls need to be loaded every time the page is postback. In my case, it needs to be loaded each time the datagrid is doing ItemDataBound. I did it and even hook up the eventhandler with button click event each time when the user control is dynamically loaded. I set EnableViewState to true on the Page and controls.
