C# - Conditional Image Path Using Eval?

Feb 6, 2011

I have two images progress.png and completed.png. Depending on the status in the db table (In Progress of Complete), I want to display the appropriate image. What is the correct syntax for the IIF() statement within asp.net?

<asp:image ImageUrl='<%# IIF(Eval("Status").Equals("In Progress")
display - 'images/progress.png')
else if status equals "Complete"
display - 'images/complete.png' %>' />

Forms Data Controls :: Conditional Eval Statement In Gridview?

Nov 18, 2010

I have a conditional Eval statement in a Gridview that returns a boolean result to display an image if two datafields(strings) are identical:

Visible='<%# Eval("customerA").Equals(Eval("customerB")) %>'

Works great except I don't want the image to display if both datafields are empty. How can I add that logic into this Eval stmt?

Load Image Path In Code?

Jan 6, 2011

in my source view of my web page I am using some images. Right now I use the code:

HTML Code:
<img class="smallIcon" src="skins/itsoft-images/small-icon.png" alt="Small Icon" width="20px" height="20px" />
I use this image many times in my pages, as well as other images. I don't want to use a path like this because if I ever change the location of the images, I will have to update a hundred pages.I would like to place the path to the image in my web.config file, and have the code load from there. I'm use to doing it in PHP but I can't figure it out in .Net.

Something like:

HTML Code:
<img class="smallIcon" src="<%@ ICON_FILE_DIR %>" alt="Small Icon" width="20px" height="20px" />
Is that even possible?

Web Forms :: How To Change Image Path Name Dynamically

Oct 18, 2010

In my website I have <img src from code behind (created the whole table and css in the code behind). So for an image I added as <img src='../combox/img/products/prod1.gif">

So when I run this page and see the view source, I get the following path for my image: <img src = "http://localweb1/combox/img/products/prod1.gif">. Here localweb1 is my development server.

But I want to change this "http://localweb1" to "http://www.mypage.com/ so the img src will show as <img src="http://aeroprod.com/combox/img/products/prod1.gif">

How should I do this in my code? Do I have to parse? In this case how do I do it?

AJAX :: HTMLEditor Description Image Path?

How do you deal with images in the HTML Editor from the Ajax Toolkit? I didn't find a way to define the image directory or something to set a relative default path.

Since the Editor is normally in a different subdirectory than the content pages will be displayed afterwards.

Also, there is no option to include images somehow, no?
