Customer CustomerStatus CustomerType CustomerAddresses
Therefore I have a Customer Entity, a CustomerStatus entity, a CustomerType Entity and a List of CustomerAddresses. In my code, I load up the Customer Entity and the List of CustomerAddresses because that's all I need. For some reason Linq to Sql is trying to insert a new Customer Status record. I have no idea why its doing this.
Can anyone please explain to me how linq to sql determines which table(s) will be written to based on the entities above?

I populated a DataList with a Title (<%# Eval("Title") %>) and Content (<%# Eval("Content" %>) and all is OK. I've downloaded blog engine .NET and looked at the code and I like the way they do it, but it's completely an overkill of what I need. What I need is only a title, author, date, and the blog post it self. I don't even want users to post comments or anything like that. My approach is to save all those blog post information into an xml and then when a page loads it loops around those xml files to show the blog post.

I am using LINQ and sending a linq object to the view and trying to show it in a textbox like this

But I am getting error, how can I show (PetRecord.PetName) which is my linq entity
how can I create stored procedure and write my select statement in it, I know how to create dataset then put type stored procedure and assign it to the sp ... what I want is writing my sp... how can I make it ?

I am writing a plugin to help with a current ERP system we have that I am not allowed to modify the data structure at all. The table I am dealing with has over 100 columns and I am wanting to set my linq object propertychanged event and submitchanges or do I really have list out each property and set it equal to the new one?Below is an example of what I am trying to do:

My question is that, for each control the Stored Procedure called or not? If it is yes then it is time consuming and I need to use LINQ to DataSet or LINQ to Object rather than to call SP for each control. What is difference between LINQ to DataSet and LINQ to Object?
