This works as i would expect in IE8, where it displays the div when you click the header link, and then hides it when clicking the header link again. However, in Firefox, nothing happens when i click the header link.I'm assuming this is to do with IE being forgiving of an error i have made, and Firefox sticking to the rules, but i can't see what i am doing wrong.

I am outputting the content of a page from a subroutine. The weird thing is, the code behind is writing this to my aspx page. <asp:Hyperlink ID="HyperLink1" runat="server" CssClass="HoverMenuText">more</asp:HyperLink> When the page is viewed live, the hyperlink is not a hyperlink because using the browser to "View Source", the html shows the exact same line! It wasn't converted to the format like "<a id="ctl00_ContentPlaceHolder1_HyperLinkHover">HoverMenuTest</a>" So for some reason, the server is not converting this asp control to an html control. Any ideas why it wouldn't do that?
I am facing problem with diplaying FileUpload control on my aspx page. The problem is that when I drag the control in design view, it is showing a bordered TextBox and a Browse button on it right side but when I run my application, the button becomes "Choose File" button and TextBox appears at the right side of the button instead of left side and also it does not have any border. When I select a file, it is only showing a file name instead of the complete path. let me know that how could I display this control the same way as it was displaying during design time? I am using below code to display the control.

I'm using CRv9 and want to make use of Google Charts API for generating QR code on fly (in asp .net) and display it in the Crystal Report in a PDF format.I have spent the whole day looking for solution with no luck. The way we output the report is we use .rpt file, feed it with data and use Response.OutputStream to feed to browser. No CrystalReportViewer control hence CSS solution is not an option.
Now, I got as far as added an OLE Object from file with Link, which I would be overwriting every time the new QR code is generated. I apreciate that CR requires it to be a bitmap, so I was planning to download and convert the google's generated PNG file to BMP, that's not an issue. The problem is that Image in the report does not update after I replace the file. Meaning, it displays the original image, which was added as an OLE Object.
If I open this report in CR designer, the image gets refresh/updated and I'd have to save changes to the report to see this new image next time I generate a PDF file.The question is really how to achieve a dynamic image in Crystal Reports 9? Remember, Picture object did not have a Graphic Location property until vXI, so I cannot use that.
Manipulations with DataSets is not an option either as we're not giving report a datasource, instead we just map the fields with FormulaFieldDefinitions.

I have a form to insert University major relation to uniBol table. TextBox3 takes University names and Textbox2 Takes majors. unibol contains uniID(university ID) and bolID (major ID). When I enter something on the textboxes containing unicode it doesn't return any ID. How should I go for it to work properly?
Currently I'm writing an ASP.net webforms app, which works with a table containing 15 fields. I'm using LINQ to SQL which is very good to use and everything, but when i need to bind the fields with the text boxes (15 of em), whats the best way currently I'm doing this
[code]....
Also what should i do to implement the Move next and move previous functionality like a recordset i mean how can i move to the next/previous "student" in db.Students collection.
I am trying to set value to Textbox from the query Linq to SQL , I can fill the gridview , and I can only set FirstOrDefault to textbox
what I need to count the record of my table then add the field emailaddress to textbox1 and then add ";" and then go to next record , it was vert easy using reader , but in LINQ is very hard
I am developing an ASP.NET where I need to display each purchase for every account in a GridView (so basically each purchase links to an account).
The problem is, we have over 6000 suppliers (granted, these can be filtered down to around 1000 which the customer will usually do), each of whom will have a few transactions. So you can imagine the time it takes to bind this data is very long - in fact, occasionally the SQL server times out. Sadly I cannot use paging, as all the data needs to be displayed in one page.
What I'm doing is similar to the code below (not at my machine so can't copy exactly)
IEnumerable<Account> accs = (from s in dc.Accounts select s); foreach (Account acc in accs) { IEumerable<Purchases> purchs = (from s in dc.Purchases where s.AccountID == acc.ID select s); double 30daysval;
[Code].....
Is there a faster way of doing this, perhaps using join's in LINQ or something? I know this may be a bit hopeless seeing as the data involved is huge, and that displaying a couple of thousands rows on a single page is fairly absurd, but that's what I've been told to do...
How can I pass the result of the linq to a textbox?
Code: string search = txtSearchPO.Text; IPSBLL.TransactionInfo dbInfo = new IPSBLL.TransactionInfo(); var q = from info in dbInfo.GetTransactionInfo() where info.PONumber == search select info; txtPONumber.Text = q;
I need to access the column data something like this:
Code:
DataTable.Rows[index].columnName How can I do that in LINQ?
