AJAX :: Control Toolkit Only Compiles Locally?
Jul 9, 2010 I have just installed the Ajax Control Toolkit (Headache that it was).Now the latest finding is that it all works fine (i.e. compiles with no errors or warnings) when the project is stored on local (C:) drive but it doesn't work when the project is stored on a mapped network (L:) drive.
(This is all in Visual Studio by the way, just the development stage. Deployment to a server a different issue all together!)So if I press F5 to run the app with the Project located on the network drive I get the following error

Jan 25, 2011We have a website with a huge amount of Cached objects stored in static variables within App_Code. Whenever we push an App_Code change to our production webservers it recycles the IIS pool and flushes the cache. It does not flush the cache however when we push out changes to .aspx and .aspx.cs files.
I need to have a bunch of classes that will be updated several times a day to be able to be referenced in App_Code. I would like either a section of my App_Code which I can update several times a day without cycling IIS and flushing my cache, or the ability to reference classes outside of App_Code from within App_Code.

In my query I want all departments and employees listed who work on a particular date. In addition, if the Department.Include_Unavailable is 'true' I want to create a row with the department and employees who work in that department even if they are not schuled to work. I will eventually list these employees as 'unavailable' but do not want to list all unavailable employees as unavailable. Only employees that work in departments that have Department.Include_Unavailable set to 'true'

How To Bind Data And Manipulate It In A GridView With MVP
Mar 4, 2010I am new to the whole MVP thing and slowly getting my head around it all. The a problem I am having is how to stay consistent with the MVP methodology when populating GridViews (and ddls, but we will tackle that later).
Is it okay to have it connected straight to an ObjectDataSourceID? To me this seems wrong because it bypasses all the separation of concerns MVP was made to do.
So, with that said, how do I do it? How do I handle sorting (do I send over handler events to the presentation layer, if so how does that look in code)? Right now I have a GridView that has no sorting. Code below.
