AJAX :: Accordion Header Should Redirect To New ASPX Page
Mar 6, 2010
In my MASTER.PAGE I have placed an Accordion Extender. If I click on the HEADER, I want to open the Accordion and redirect to another ASPX.Page, which is a child of the MASTER. How can I do this? If have already placed HyperLinks inside the Headers like this:
[Code]....
The first problem is, that Product2.aspx is only loaded, if I click exactly the Link. If I click somewhere else in the Header, the accordion will expand but the Link is not fired. The next thing is, if I click exactly on the Link, the new page is loaded, but the Accordion is set back to the default view (first AccordionPane is expanded) Is there a way to get this done?
I have created Accordion control from database. so basically in the header section I have bind categories and in the panel Bind subcategories. basically now it's working fine. but the important thing what i have to do is if i selected a category on that time it's showing me subcategory in the accordion. but at the same time i have to show subcategory on another page. As well as i have to keep selected header true. Now not getting how to show subcategory on another page and as well as how to keep selected header true.
I am trying to access my accordian in my javascript so I can expand the first (and only) pane but whenever I do that I get a page error before the page loads "Object reference not set to an instance of an object'
The name of my accordian is "myAccordian". and the accordion is inside a gridview.
Just for testing I did the $find on my gridview (not the accordion) and that worked fine,
I am loading an Accorion control dynamically (Used for a menu) and assign the Style in code.
The accordion Header has a default and a hover over style and so does the Content. But it seems like the Content a:hover is used on the Header although i have made sure that i have the Header a:hover also in the CSS. Does any one know if there are something logged like this? Here is my code that dynamically loads the Accordion in the Code Behind
I want to set up an accordion where the user is led through a series of steps and can only get to the next pane once they have filled in all the information. I have already found code to open/close panes, so that will be applied to a button that becomes enabled once the user has filled out all the necessary information. I can't figure out how to disable the header behavior. I took the href off and it still is clickable.
I have a table with a boolean row, I want change the header of the pane with the value of the row, for example, if the value of the row is 0 the header will be red, if the value is 1 the header will be green
I have an accordion control with header and content templates. I am binding this control at pageload but, due to the page load time i want to bind the headers only to the accordion in the pageload and when the user click on the header after pageload i want to bind the content to the accordion. I have succeded to add an event to the header but when i clicked on the header page postback is happening even the entire accordion in the updatepanel. Here is the code to ref.
The getdata method is executing when i clicked on the headerhere is the cs code
public partial class WebForm1 : System.Web.UI.Page { string[] names = { "Brand", "Success", "Navigation" }; int[] value = { 10, 20, 30 }; protected void Page_Load(object sender, EventArgs e) { if (!IsPostBack) { DataTable dt = new DataTable(); DataColumn dc1 = new DataColumn("name"); DataColumn dc2 = new DataColumn("value"); dt.Columns.Add(dc1); dt.Columns.Add(dc2); for (int i = 0; i < 3; i++) { DataRow dr = dt.NewRow(); dr["name"] = names[i].ToString(); dr["value"] = value[i].ToString(); dt.Rows.Add(dr); } Accordion1.DataSource = dt.DefaultView; Accordion1.DataBind(); } } protected void getdata(object sender, CommandEventArgs e) { if (e.CommandName == "Brand") { ((Label)Accordion1.Panes[0].FindControl("Label2")).Text = value[0].ToString(); } if (e.CommandName == "Success") { ((Label)Accordion1.Panes[1].FindControl("Label2")).Text = value[1].ToString(); } if (e.CommandName == "Navigation") { ((Label)Accordion1.Panes[2].FindControl("Label2")).Text = value[2].ToString(); } } }
I need to eliminate the postback from this page. I tried it only accordion on the page then it is working fine(with out postback) but when integrated it with the other code in which again am having some ajax functionality then the post back is occurring.
if found some javascript but that is on the client / i need to disable some panes based on values from the database. Ive tried AccordionPane4.HeaderContainer.Enabled = false ; But that has no effect. also is there an event handler so I can swap an image for open / close when someone expands a pane?
I am using an accordion control in my web page. I am trying to hide the header of the active pane so users do not see the text in the header and only the text in the inactive pane is shown
If a user clicks the Header of the inactive pane then the Header of the first pane is shown ( as usual) but the header of the now open second pane should not be visible
Should this be done using java script (making us of the selectedIndexChanged event of the accordion or css.
If using Java script how can the header of an accordion pane be accessed.
i m using an ajax accordion control. i m generating the Accordion Pane, header and content dynamically. i have two cssclasses for header. now i want to do is like that for the 1st header there will be different background image then all other headers in the accordion panes. can any one tell me how can i able to do this? is it possible in the accordion control or not?
First time using an Accordion Control and I'm having some trouble with the CSS, as per the subject description. I have only created the headers so far and assigned some basic CSS to them. Right now that CSS is only there to limit the width (and therefore clickable area) of the header to the width of the image that the header is represented by. This works fine until I click on one of the headers and then its width property is lost. Same for the other headers, they are fine for the first click and then after that they lose their style. There is no postback caused by selecting a header so this is not the reason that the CSS is being lost.
I want to bind data to content template of the accordion pane on the header click event of the pane. I can bind data to content template now but it is making unnecessary db calls when it tried to load intially since the data for the content template comes from different source. In order to avoid that i want o bind data to Content template only when the user is interested to look at the data. let me know how can i achieve this. Below is the sample on what on I am trying to do.
I have a stripped down log in form on the top of each page, user/pass box and buttom, no keep me log in or error messages. If the user enters the right credetians he is log in and user name shows up instead of log in form; if he enters the wrong info, nothing happens.
Now, I want it to happen is that if the user enters the wrong credetians, and he doesnt get log in, he is redirect to the full Log In page.
i want redirect ALL ajax requests(with X-Requested-With:XMLHttpRequest in header) to action: ajax(string function, string args) . How can i do it?For example: browser send ajax query with paramerts function=getImage&args=4 to url http://localhost/post/123 but we redirect query to http://localhost/ajax.
I'm trying to develop a simple web application where I need to redirect to main.aspx after successful login attempt in login.aspx page. However,it is redirecting the page to defualt.aspx... Is there a way to redirect my application to main.aspx??
Building asp.C# shopping app that is using a hosted payment page to process payments (using posting of data to a hosted payment page). SSL certificate is signed and installed.
Flow:
Prelim) (HTTPS) Users authenticate using asp Login control
1) Users add items to cart.
2) (HTTPS)Users go to checkout page.
3) Users finalize their order, then click pay now after agreeing to T&C.
4) Server gets cart data (from MSSQL2005) and sets a transaction cookie (expiry set to 20 mins).
5) (HTTPS) Server Response.Redirects to an html page (in the same folder as the login protected pages).
6) Html page reads transaction cookie data and generates form fields.
7) (HTTPS) Html page posts data to hosted payment page (php).
8) User enters payment info and clicks pay now.
9) (HTTPS) hosted payment page posts info back to a .aspx page that checks if payment OK.
10a) If payment !OK, redirects to a declined page.
10b) (HTTPS) If payment OK, sets a verification cookie (expiry set to 20 mins). Then redirects to another html page.
11) Html page reads cookie data and generates form fields.
12) (HTTPS) Html page posts data to hosted verification page (php).
13) Verification page verifies (of course), if transaction ok.
14) (HTTPS) verification page posts data to a .aspx page that checks if verification OK.
15) If verification OK, process orders and do receipt stuff.
Issue:
This control flow was tested on an unsigned dev environment. SSL was being enforced, if needed on the unsigned SSL certificate. So we'd get prompts that certificate may be bad, but the control flow worked seamlessly.
However, now live with a signed SSL certificate, going from step 5 to 6, we are encountering a situation where some users (not duplicated every time, but verified that it does occur) when they click pay now and are redirected to the html page, they are forced back to the ~/login.aspx page (as if they were logged out).
Things to note:
a) The session did not time out.
b) The browsers have cookies and javascript enabled.
c) I can process the entire flow seamlessly on the same machine with other accounts, and occasionally, the same account.
So, basically, I'm stumped... Is this a viewstate error? A login control bug that won't let me redirect to an html page because it is now using a real SSL? Anyone have any experience with this kind of deal? I'm at a loss for solutions at this point.
what i have is the follwoing Page1.aspx.cs has the following redirection in it. Response.redirect(Errors.aspx) once i go to the errors.aspx page i have a back button but at the moment it does a history.back(-1) . That is not totally corect, what i want to do is when i click on the back button go to the page that originated the call ie Page1.aspx so it goes through the Page_Load in order to refresh statues on the page. What is the best way of achieving this?
In my application I try to close opened window using javascript function.
function Close_Window() { var myWin = window.open('', '_parent', ''); myWin.close(); }
this function is used in 3 aspx pages. That page will open from mail means my application is used for sending Mail. In that such as normal newsletter there will be three footer links like UnSubscribe,Forward A Friend,Change E-Mail address. So on click of close button for above these three pages I had written that code. The page will be opened from "ashx" file. And I try to close it using Javascript. So close button is working when I direct click on the above three links.
But by right clicking on that I open it in new window or new tab close button is not working. So how can I close aspx page using javascript or in code behind. My purpose is page should be close any how by javascript or by code behind. I am opening that page using ashx handler.
I am doing a message box that when user clicks on the Ok button, it will redirects to another aspx page. However, I do not know what is wrong with the code.
I have a startup page as Menu.aspx I want to redirect this page to login.xaml so that whenver user type Menu.aspx it should open login.xaml then this .aspx page.
I am using Forms Authentication and have stored the credentials in the Web.config since there are only two credentials. Currently I have a login page that on authentication would redirect to the default.aspx page or the return url. I want to redirect to a different page i.e. form1.aspx or form2.aspx based upon the credentials.
Currently using
if (FormsAuthentication.Authenticate(txtUser.Text, txtPassword.Text)) { FormsAuthentication.RedirectFromLoginPage(txtUser.Text, false); }
I run into this problem while playing with accordion for a project. Sometimes VS 2008 auto generates code, without me wanting to!!!. Less generally I have an Accordion with 2 Accordion Panes in it. When modifing properties of the Accordion VS 2008 adds an Accordion extender and duplicates the two Accordion Panes!
