I install the ajaxtoolkit and add reference of it to toolbox i get various element of ajaxtoolkit but there is no available asyncfileupload control.
Why it is not shown in toolbox even i install ajaxtoolkit. in .net framework 2.0 using visual studio 2005...
am trying to use the AsyncFileUpload control in ajax toolkit to upload a picture file, save the file on a location on the server's filesystem and display the picture file back to the client system. I have both the image and AsyncFileUpload controls inside an updatepanel but its seems the UploadedComplete server code is not firing when the file upload completes any clue?

I currently can see every type of file.
I would like to restrict what they see in the file upload dialog, which is set to "All Files" by default. I understand how to validate that they only uploaded a certain file type, that is not the question here. I would just like to know how to default the file type in the file selection dialog.
Is there any way to change this to "PNG only" or "*.png"?This is using AsyncFileUpload in the ASP.NET AJAX Control Toolkit.

the problem is the items text in the combox box is having a square beneath at the second character which is hindering the visibility of the list. but the square is not appearing in the text area.
Adding an Accordion only creates the outer most tags. I then have to add the headercssclass, contentcssclass etc. info. Then i have to manually add <Pane> tags, and then add Accordion Pane controls. Using VWDE 2008, is there a way to customize the control so that adding the Accordion control automatically adds this other info? Ideally with 2 Accordion Panes to start, but even just getting the various Accordion properties and the <Pane> tags added would make it much more <Pane>less!

i have a page with some control like update panel and cascading dropdownlist. I have added some asp require validators but it does not working.
I have an asp image button with a postback url set. When i click on this button, the validations does not occurs and the application goes to the next page.

I have read several articles that tell that asyncfileupload control will not work if added at run-time. As suggested by some of the articles,I tried adding a static asyncfileupload control but still it does not work.I need to have 5 file upload controls in the web user control. Do you think I can make them to work or should I completely do a re-design or go with full postbacks. My preference is to be able to use asyncfileupload control and I am willing to invest time in making them to work since they improve the user experience by many folds.
