AJAX :: Filling HtmlTable Row By Row And Updating?

I have a website, where I load some info into 6 table rows.
Every row loads a different thing and it lasts a different amount of time.
Loading of the whole table takes a lot of time (5-15 secs), so What I would like to do is to load every row with an AJAX UpdatePanel (or 6 UpdatePanels) like this:
When the loading of one row's data is finished, the table row is displayed with the data.
Then row by row finish loading and are displayed too.
I have the following calendarextender connected to a text box (TextBoxDate). When I choose a new date, I can see that the textbox is updated. However, when I call the text box in a vb script, run when I click a button, the text box is null. The script worked fine when I would enter the date by hand. The failure began when I added the calendarextender.
I have a requirement where i need to show the list of data in a jquery dialog once a some link is clicked .I can easily collect the data that has to be shown in the dialog on page load and display the data in the dialog.I will place those data in a hidden div and simply pop it up when the user clicks on the link.But my requirement is that there has to be jquery ajax get when the users clicks on the link and that content should be displayed in the jquery dialog.How can i achieve that.

I have a placeHolder, and I create a table of names inside this PlaceHolder, each name has an HtmlInputCheckBox next to it.
Im doing this in the aspx.vb file, when the page is uploading.
Then, when the user wants to send mail, he presses a button and than I need to access the checkboxes, and I'm having problems with this, the Sub doesn't know the checkBox object.
In a form I have autocomplete extender which fills a textbox. Requirement is to fill all fields of form using that extender. Like user should select company name from textbox with extender and based on that all fields should be filled.
a pure html table will be generated on the client side. (using jQuery to add dynamic new rows to the table when the user clicks a button).
These rows contain textboxes, dropdownlists, checkboxes and other input controls.
When the user clicks a button, a PostBack is triggered in which I need to access this data from the table on the server side, validate it (yes all rows at once) and perform other actions on it.
I'm able to perform the client side and access the table data on server side by adding runat="server" to the table tag. However, I only see the initial table rows (not the ones added through JavaScript) and I have troubles retrieving the different inputs from the rows.
I have an TabContainer which contains a user control. The user control contains a formview. When I try to update the formview I get an error "Object reference not set to an instance of an object". I had the formview in the tabpanel and it worked. I decided to make it a user control just to clean it up a bit since I have several tabs, each containing formviews or grids.
This works in IE8 on my local machine (of course), and works on FireFox on the server, but in IE the content doesn't update unless I manually refresh the View. Here's the code:

So it's just some jQuery that replaces the body html with the PartialView data. As I said, this works locally no matter what, and works with FireFox from the server. I'm not sure why the content isn't updating in IE. The code is running correctly and returning the View as expected. I even slapped the cache: false on the jQuery GET so I didn't run into that delightful problem. why the MVC View isn't updating in IE?
I have 2 gridviews in an update panel that for some reason will not update. There is no data entry, paging, sorting going on, the data is just there to be displayed. I'm using a timer that initiates every 5 minutes to trigger the updatepanel. I also have an updatepanel on an additional page where I am also using a trigger to fire the updatepanel with 2 charts and 1 oneline/column gridview. The 2 charts update just like they are supposed to however the gridview does not. Here is the code for the 2 Gridview aspx page:

Does anyone know the solution to this issue or if Gridviews just don't refresh in UpdatePanels.
I have 3 update panels on a Web User Control. Two of them are nested inside of a main panel. It is supposed to update the database with the user input, then update the panel changing the validation. (I change the textbox border to red when it is empty). However, none of the panels are working. I have ever retyped the entire pages, and no luck. I have tried using trigger collections, and even putting everything in one content collection. C# Code - Web User Control
I am using Ajax to update my UpdatePanel every 1 second and it is working perfectly with my gridview. However, when I placed a image into the UpdatePanel, which it supposed be changing and updated every 1 second, it does not update but the gridview does. Gridview is getting active changing data from the database without any problem. The image which I want to see the updating is the StreamImage.jpg. StreamImage.jpg is inside my local directory. It only updates when I hit the refresh button.
I have an Asp.net page which requires certain sections to be partially updated automatically at an interval of 5 seconds. I was planning to use the good old Timer control with the AJAX Update Panel for this purpose, but after a bit of reading on this control i found out that it may have some problems especially if,
1) The time difference between the async event performed ( 4 seconds ) by the update panel and the Timer's tick interval ( which is 5 seconds ) are quite small, the update panel will be held up in the async operation all the time.
2) Also, the fact that timer control doesn't work very well with Firefox.
I just wanted to get your opinion as to whether if i should go ahead with the timer and update panel approach, write some custom javascript that does the partial page update or some other strategy altogether.
I have a very simple application that works almost all the time. I am using an UpdatePanel. My script manager is configured to enable partial rendering. My UpdatePanel is configured for conditional update mode. My asynchronous trigger is a timer that runs every 3 seconds. I track unhandled exceptions in the database. I am not getting any unhandled exceptions. Nor am I getting managed exceptions. Now, I had two users side by side running the application today. I had one record in the data queue. The first user did not get updates; her grid did not update. The second user did get updates. The only difference was that the first user was logged in for a long period of time. The second user logged in just before the test. I reviewed the IIS log file and both users were polling the page every 3 seconds for the same data. So why didn't the first user's grid update? The code follows.
I have a couple of dropdowns inside an Ajax Update Panel. When I try to rebind the controls or set the selected index of the drodowns inside the panel, they don't respond.
For example, I update the database records and need the dropdowns to display updated data. I set the data source for the dropdowns, rebind them and update the UpdatePanel, but it still shows the old data.
this is my first post in this forum, even though I often search for helps and clarifications over its threads. And many times they are definitely useful!!I had a <asp:ScriptManager> in may MasterPage, wich was used to manage various UpdatePanels I have either in Content pages or in MasterPage.Today I inserted a CalendarExtender, so I had to replace the ScriptManeger with the AJAX ToolkitScriptManager.
At the beginning it seemed to work fine (the calendar pop up and others controls got updated properly). Then I noticed that the nodes in various TreeView are not expanding any more. The TreeViews objects are placed inside an UpdatePanel, in order to expand each node without refreshing the whole content page. And, while a node expands, an UpdatePanel containing a GridView in the content page gets updated.Now, with the new ScriptManager they do not expand, but when clicking on a single node the GridView is updated properly.Here some pieces of code:

I am creating a web part, which is loading an ASCX file. This ASCX contains an Updatepanel and linkbutton inside the update panel.
When i click on the link button for the first time, there is a request going to the server, but the UI is not getting updated. and if you click on it for teh second time, there is not even the request going to the server.
I tried using a button also, but there was no luck, the results were same, first time request fires, but the UI is not updated. and the second time even the request is not fired.
I have put the code for both below. i am using Sharepoint 2007 and My master page contains a Script manager as well.
