I have an imagebutton in Gridview control which is placed in ajaxtoolkit:TabPanel. Clicking on the imagebutton for the first time works fine. It posts back and does the desired action. However, when IsPostBack is true, it doesn't work. Even the onclick event is not called although the page posts back. Please help. Given below is the code for the same:

I created a form in a popup div, that contain an UpdatePanel with ImageButtons in it.Initially, I used LinkButtons to test but I wanted ImageButtons. The thing is, it works well with LinkButtons and not with ImageButtons (absolutely nothing happens).

I'm trying to use the ImageButton control for client-side script execution only. I can specify the client-side script to execute using the OnClientClick property, but how do I stop it from trying to post every time the user clicks it? There is no reason to post when this button is clicked. I've set CausesValidation to False, but this doesn't stop it from posting.
View 3 RepliesI have an asp page that has an iFrame. In the onload event of the iFrame, the javascript code copies the content of the iframe to the div. The iFrame has src="test.aspx" and hence displays the content of the test.aspx inside the div.Test.aspx page contains and imageButton, which does not show up in the iFrame.I am getting the following issues:1. the image does not show up (cannot see test.gif)2. When i click on the imagebutton link, it tries to search for test.aspx in the directory where the asp page resides inside of the actuallocation/directory of the aspx page.
View 3 RepliesMy dropdown controls do not keep the values after postback even though their EnableViewState is = true and in Page_Load I fill my controls ONLY if not postback.
My controls are inside a panel and the panel's EnableViewState is set to true as well...
To see the page you can log in as test and password is 12345
click on search page and set a value to say Gender and Ethnicity and click submit.
You will see the results, then navigate to number 2 or 3... You will see that it refreshes the controls and sets them to default.
I have two update panels and in the second update panel i have asp.net button and onclick of the button in codebehind i have disabled it like btnAddSecurity.Enabled = false;
When I disable the button i enable a cancel button before it and on cancel button when i try to enable the btnAddSecurity.Enabled = true it simply doesn't work. Both of my updatepanels updatemode is conditional. what is the problem?
I have a UserControl with a ModalPopupExtender that shows a Panel with a GridView. I use this UserControl inside an UpdatePanel.The issue is that I'm using a LinkButton in a TemplateField of the grid that sends a Command and it is working well. If I replace the LinkButton with an ImageButton, the AJAX call raises an error 500 (and I don't know how to debug it). As I understand, the ImageButton will send the same CommandName to the same OnRowCommand handler as the Linkbutton.

When I change the value in dropdownList (in browser), it does PostBack, but it selects the first item of list after PostBack - it doesn't save my value.
GetAllDepartments(isDeleted) is a stored procedure, it returns a List of objects with two properties - FieldKey and Name.
Maybe im doing it wrong, but all the examples i have found online seem pretty simple and straight forward. I have my validation controls all setup to SetFocusOnError="true", but if i complete my page and leave the very last textbox empty and submit, since its required the page fails, but the focus is not set on that field, even though its the only one that failed validation.

I am a new to WCF. I have written ajax to use a web service before, but on this project I am trying to use ajax to WCF.After I build the project and wcf using ajax, I receive the return successfully. But, 10 or more minutes later I don't get a return, the ajax calls the error function, and the fiddler returns nothing.
If I rebuild the project without any source modifying, I receive the return successfully again.
everytime the user selects a date from my datepicker the for some reason instead of staying focused on the are the date picker is in it scrolls to the top of the page.

I downloaded ajax4 and extracted it into the /program files/ajax folder. Do I need to register any .dlls or anything? I don't see that in the Ajax installation instructions.

here is the functionality which works in IE browser but not on firefox and chrome. I'm using

I know this is a silly question, bu I just can't get the ASP.Net Calender Extender work. I am looking at this problem for hours now.
I've downloaded the code from the Asp.net Ajax website and I've added the dll to my toolbox.

I'm new here and I need some help to use the AutoComplete Extender. I just have a default.aspx with a textbox extended with an AutoComplete. My Web Service calls a SQL Data Base thru Linq and return some account names.When I execute the WEB SERVICE and manually insert the parameters, it works! I created a web application which uses AJAX. When I debug the application on my local C drive it works fine. When I move it over to my shared server F drive and debug it, I get permission errors for every time I used AJAX in the web application. The errors look like this:

I have done almost everything including set my security level to full trust (which is what most people say is all i have to do). I do not know what else to try. Any other ideas? Could it be because I am on the .net framework 1.1 configuration? Do I need to add something to it?
When I downloaded the Ajax Tool Kit 3.5 and extracted the files, I then opened a site and went to the design view of a aspx page and clicked in the tool box, added a new catagory called tookit and then right clicked and selected "Choose Items". Everytime I've done this it closes out MS Studio 2008 Pro? Can someone tell me what to do? I need that ajax tool kit for future projects on the web, and for one that I'm just starting on now

Which I'm guessing is the code that should cause the calendar to show up. I've tried it with a separate button as well.
