AJAX :: Limit Days On Calendar Extender?

I need to be able to only allow certain days to be selected on a calendar extender. I have an application where I need users to run a report. The report has to be for a certain time length (2 weeks, from a sunday like 11/2/2011 to a saturday like 11/15/2011). Is there a way to accomplish this?

Calendar Extender Limit My Date Range On An Ajax Calendar?
I have found ways to validate selected dates when using the calendar extender, but maybe im not searchingcorrectly.. but here is what i want to do..just wondering if it can be done with the calendar extender control.

i have a field which requires the user to pick a date.. i woudl like to limit the dates that can be selected from.. i mean the whole calendar can display, but if iwant them to pick ONLY dates within the last 7 days and 7 days in the future..

Example:Todays date is 11/06/2009 so when they click in the textbox and the calendar opens, the full calendar is displayed.. but the only availble dates to pick from are 10/30, 10/31, 11/1, 11/2, 11/3, 11/4, 11/5, 11/6, 11/7, 11/8, 11/9, 11/10, 11/11, 11/12, 11/13

I dont want to do after they pick a date, i'd like to display their ONLY possible dates.

I am using Framework 2.0, ASP.NET AJAX 1.0 and Visual Studio 2005.I am using 2 Ajax Calendar Extender in my page. I am using a text box and html image control and setting the TargetControlID to the test box id and the PopupButtonID to the image control name. When i click the first image the calendar pops up and without choosing a date if i click the second image the second calendar control opens on top of the first calendar control. Is there any way i can make the previous one disappear without choosing a date leaving the calendar control associated with the last image clicked.

AJAX :: Does The Calendar Extender Have Year Navigation
I think the calendar extender of the ajax control toolkit is pretty cool. The demos don't have a year navigation, and one can only navigate monthly. In other words, if you wanna pick a date in 2010, you will have to click more than 24 times! That's a lot of work.I peeked into the sample web site's source code and the documentation and could not figure out if year navigation has been made an option with this calendar extender.BTW, I sorta feel that the search functionality of this web site needs to be improved. First of all, it's very slow, 2nd, I searched for "calendar" and nothing returns,

AJAX :: Another Stab At Calendar Extender Year Only?
A few posts in the last year or so with folks trying to get the calendar extender to work with year only. I know folks will say, "Hey make a dropdownlist!". not always. in my particular application I am havingyears that potentially would need to go back40+ years, and I'd rather not have a dropdown with 40+ values in it. Not to mention in a few years have to update it again.

So building off of
http://weblogs.asp.net/aghausman/archive/2009/05/31/how-to-show-and-select-month-year-in-calendar-extender.aspx?CommentPosted=true#commentmessage I am trying to get it to be a Year Only view. Here's my code.

[Code]....

[Code]....

What I am having an issue with is that this code technically works. It works when I have the alert() in there. I take that alert out and it has weird behavior. Selecting the first or last cell in the calendar control without the alert will jump decades. For example I will click 1989 and I'll get 1969 in the texbox with the extender on it.I'm pretty sure I am lost in the loop somewhere or I have a elementary code/logic error. But after spending way too much time messing with this I figured another set of trained eyes might be able to help. This if resolved would be a nice feature to be able to have at the communities finger tips, an ajax year selector.

AJAX :: Getting Date AND Time From Calendar Extender?
We have a project requirement to modify the existing AJAX Calendar Extender so that it sends the selected date and current time back to the associated textbox. Here is an example from a test page:

[Code]....

The default format for a Calendar Extender is 'd', which produces a short date. So we tried changing the format to 'G', which should produce a long date with time down to the second. Unfortunately, that caused a javascript error that the format was wrong. Following an example, we changed the format to that which is above. No javascript errors but the time for the selected date is always midnight or 00:00:00. We're trying to figure out how to set the default time to the current time. Has anyone done this and, if so, how did you accomplish it?

2.) Is it possible to have calender show only few years for example if I use calender for Age purpose then I want users to select only 1920 through 2000 so calender shows only those no of years.

AJAX :: Calendar Extender And TextBox Set To ReadOnly In C#?
I placed a TextBox on the screen, then put an image on, then placed the Calendar Extender control on. By clicking the Image (using the PopupButtonID), the calendar pops-up. I was able to put together my own little CSS file and it looks great. Select the date, and the TextBox is populated with the date. Click to get the report based on the date(s) entered, and *poof* broken. There's a validation control that checks to see if the date was set.

if (DateFrom.Text == "---" || DateTo.Text ==
"---")

The issue really doesn't appear to be with this check. (Note: the initial value of the TextBox is set to '---' just to highlight what's in the TextBox for the user). When I went into Debug, and added the DateFrom.Text and DateTo.Text values, they would always be displayed as their default value of "---" in the watch list. It couldn't pick up the new values that were set by Calendar Extender control.

However, that issue only appears if I set the TextBox to ReadOnly = true, or Enabled = false. If the TextBox is left as a typical TextBox, Enabled and not ReadOnly, then it all works fine. But doing that raises other issues... if the user enters values into the TextBox manually, and it's intended to be a DateTime value, then it requires more validation of the values.

Ideally, I should be able to use the Calendar Extender control, set the TextBox to ReadOnly, so the user cannot put an invalid value in the box, and they can get their report.
