AJAX :: ModalPopupExtender Hides On AsyncFileUpload UploadComplete Event

i work with AjaxFileUploadl in ModalPopupExtender and I want that the modal closes once the upload ends.
I put the event hide () in the event AjaxFileUpload1_OnClientUpload of ModalPopupExtender but it did not work
here is my code :

I am working with .Net 2.0 using Visual Studio 2005 and the corresponding AjaxControlToolkit .
I have a master page with a ModalPopupExtender that appears some number of seconds before the browser session times out. Everything works perfect, except for one condition. One of the web pages has an iFrame used to display a PDF. If the user is on this page and the modal popup is displayed, the modal popup hides behind the iFrame and the user cannot see it.

I work with ModalPopupExtender (ajax control toolkit) asp.net
that is to say that a popup appears which contain one panel with 2 DropDownList (DropDownList1, DropDownList2)price starting from DropDownList1 the DropDownList filled due to the code behind.
My problem is that when I click on the DropDownList1 ModalPopupExtender that contain the Panel is gone because of AutoPostBack = "True" of DropDownList1.

As far as I can see, the following code should make an AsyncFileUpload display in ModalPopupExtender. The MPE shows fine but the AsyncFileUpload doesn't load inside it. I also tried removing the update panel and putting the divs both inside and outside of the update panel, all with the same (lack of) results. And the AsyncFileUpload displays and works outside of the MPE.

A ModalPopupExtender works fine with a panel as the target control and the panel has an AsyncFileUpload control.
However as soon as AsyncFileUpload.OnClientUploadComplete is set to something (e.g. onclientuploadcomplete="alert('hello');"), the panel is not hidden on page load.
Is there any compatibility issue here?

On my webform I have an AsyncFileUpload control. At first it is set not to be visible until two textboxes are filled. On the textbox_textchanged events the uploadcontrol is made visible. At that time the UploadedFileError event is fired.... why? The control is empty, so there is nothing to upload, but apparently it still tries to.How can I fix this?

I have the asyncFileUpload control inside a user control which is a wizard control step. The wizard control is inside a AJAX update panel.
I have a requirement to save the complete folder path along with the file name when user selects a file in the asyncFileUpload control. In order to achieve this on the server side UploadedComplete even I save the PostedFile.FileName to a session variable.
Then on the client side OnClientUploadComplete I force a postback for the UpdatePanel. In the postback I get session variable value and then do my processing.
server side upload completed event when I save the posted file name to a session variable. This is working in my local machine. I am able to retrieve the Session variable on the postback, but when I move the code to my test server the Session value is coming out as blank. I validated that the UploadedComplete event is triggered on the server, but for some reason the Session value is blank.way I can get the PostedFile name (complete path) on the Client side?

like to ask how to stop triggering event Timer_Tick when ModalPopup is already shown. I use the following code:

I'd like after 15 seconds the ModalPopup to show, but the timer go on counting and triggering Timer1_Tick event. This operation should happen on user basis. So, if one user ModalPopup shows and stops Timer1_Tick event, for another user on the website, the Timer1_Tick should work.

How can I fire a ModalPopupExtender on the SelectIndexChanged event of a dropdownlist?
I only want it to fire when a particular value is chosen in the list.
I tried leaving the PopupControlID value out and calling .Show() on my extender in the onselectchanged event, but it would not allow me to have a blank PopupControlID. If I set the PopupControlID to the ID of my dropdownlist, the popup fires as soon as I click on the dropdownlist control.

I've tried variations on CSS and layout (such as tables) but haven't been able to solve this problem. I've been able to recreate this with my simple example below on both Firefox 3.6 and IE7. When I load this page, the textbox blinks in for a second and when the slider appears the textbox will disappear. In the case of this example, the slider appears in the place where the textbox tried to load. In other examples I've created the textbox and slider load in different places but the textbox still disappears when the slider appears.

I would really appreciate if someone can find out what's wrong with this code.
Here is my question. I have textboxes in a modal popup extender (City, state, zip) and there is an image button search for searching the address from the database. All this functionality is within a control (.ascx file). This control is added to the page where it needs to be displayed and is being displayed when a user click the Address button (the code for it is not shown here). The method ShowAddressSearch() in the control is being called from the page and it displays the popup.
When the user enters any of the 3 values and hits search a server event is fired up and the result should be displayed in a grid. What is happening is, when the user hits the search button the server call is made and the data fetched from the db but the modal popup closes itself here is the code for this. I would really appreciate if someone can find out where and how popup is getting closed.

when i click a button, the ajax modal pop up should float above the svg, which is a image object that formated as xml file underneath. it works all fine in IE and Firefox, but it's not working in safari.
In safari, the modal pop up is behand the svg rather than float on the svg, so far i had use the z-index and position in front end control, but none of them are working, the below is my aspx code:

I have a modal popup extender with one control (ascx) this control has a label that on onclic method call other popup extender.
It's has other ascx, it's has a button for a search. When I do Click in this button in first time, the event click not fired and there are a javascript error that say "this._activeDRagVisual is null reference".
In the other hand, If a use de second popup inside an asp page the event and control work correctly. The problem is with the popup inside popup.
