'm new to Ajax control toolkit so maybe I missed something essential on the way. I have downloaded and added Ajax to my project and everything seems fine. The Slider contor works but when I add a MultiHandleSlider to my page and run it I get the following error:Runtime error Microsoft JScript: 'null' is null or not an objectThis is the code for my MultihandleSlider:
I have tried all sorts of combinations but I still get this error - Does anyone have an idea on how to solve this?
In VS2010 I have VB.NET codebehind aspx pages and I'm using Ajax multihandleslider extensions to filter search results on numerical values.
Fistly, the multihandle sliders don't display in the designer... I have to remove the slider targets tag:
In order to make it display in the designer... this isn't so much a big issue but an annoyance.
I am displaying items in a given category. So I get the max and min prices for all items in that category and assign the sliderextension max/min values appropriately.
This works fine until... I change the item category and go get a new max/min value for the slider control. I set the max/min values, then I set the target textbox values each to the corresponding max/min values.
The slider handles don't repaint (or init?) properly Like say for example my initial min/max is 1/100 if I do a full postback and change the max value to 1000 then the slider bar (correctly) stays the same size but the handle appears WAYYYY to the right off the page and I have to scroll to it. When I click it, it shoots back onto the slider bar.
I can't get the collapsible panel extender to working when using a master pages. The code bellow works without assigning a master page but I need to use master page because I am doing a large project. Parser Error Message: The server tag is not well formed. Error in line: <asp:CollapsiblePanelExtender runat="server"
I'm using a slider extender to allow user to select a value from 1 to 7. It works perfectly, but I can't figure out for the life of me how to label the damn thing. I would like the slider to look something like these lovely examples from
I have a series of sliders in a table. All of the contents of each cell are centered, except the sliders. No matter what I do, they stay left-aligned. You can see them here: http://www.benedict.com/Info/FairUse/Visualizer/Visualizer.aspx
I am using v3.0.31106.0 of the AjaxControlTookkit.dlll. I have nested master pages. The site Master page has the only ScriptManager & holds the oneColumn & twoColumn master pages. The twoColumn master page holds content pages. In the content page there is a update panel. Here is my Site Master Page:
Here is the Nested Master Page:
Before the update page I put the ToolkitScriptManager. In the update panel I put a button with a ConfirmBox Extender. I then get an error saying Only one instance of a ScriptManager can be added to the page. If I take the ToolkitScriptManager out this error goes away but then I get an error saying The ConfirmBox Extender is not recognized.According to all the posts I have read the last 24hours the master page should have the ScriptManager and the content page should hold the toolkitScriptManager. Here is my content page:
I am using Slider Extender for the very first time and i am not able to figure out why am i facing this problem, the problem is mentioned below :I kept the slider extender, Script Manager and 2 text boxes(one for TargetControl and one for BoundControl), i have given all required values (i.e. Maximum, minimum, steps etc.) now the slider should load on page load. Although the slider is loading on page load but the Bar of the slider is coming out of position. The same thing when i did with Orientation as Horizontal it worked properly but for Vertical orientation it is giving the above problem.
I need to control volume of aspnet audio control using the slider extender in ajax. I have a listview in which every item click plays an mp3 file. Also at each click i assign the current value fron slider to the volume of audio control so that the volume is not reset each time the user clicks on an item. But the problem is that the slider extender does not increase the volume but only decreases it from the last value set.
iam placing the textbox of slider control in one panel and this panel iam showing when mouse goes to a linkbutton by using hover .the problem is when iam using slider extender with hover iam getting the following error for the slider control ---the errro is set valid value for the height and widht attributes in the slider css classes..how to solve this problem

i need to create a page that will ave lots of slider controls on it. about 50 in total. Does anoyne have any examples or good ideas how to handle that many sliders on a single page.
The problem i have is that the ajaxcontrol toolkit sliders seem to behave a bit eratic... eg sometimes you cant slider the slider on select the desired value and sometimes all the sliders disapear just leaving the text box they are linked to visible?
I am using slider extender in an user control. I am adding that user control 2 times in a page. At that it gives me an error saying "Two components with the same id 'Slider1' can't be added to the application."
I am using Latest Version of AjaxToolkit and VS 2008 with .NET FWK 3.5.
I went through lots of forums, posts etc. But never found really good answer on this.I'm trying to add AutoComplete Extender to TextBox and display some tips to users.Everything is fine when this code is placed in Content Page. But I've got like ~10 Content Pages based on one Master Page so it's completely stupid to repeat the code on each one.
There are some answers on the web but they are only partial ones, check if you wan't:
