I have a panel containing one image, and i use Ajax ModalPopupExtender for show panel when I click button. After I clicked button first, all so good. But, after I refresh or do event on page, panel is show and then hidden about 1s.

But user enters the wrong detail, it should shows in a lablel in a popup panel. It shows; but the problem is it close the popup . But I want to keep the popup if the user enters the wrong details. View 5 RepliesI wish to write a modal dialog box for my project, similar to this http://obout.com/editor_new/howto_sc.aspx.Which is very simple:When a user click on a button,the page will make a call to a web service and when it is done,a Movable Modal Dialog box will show and populated with my data, along with buttons and scripts for those buttons.It seems that the panel and popup extender can show the popup but it is not movable.Should I do it with AJAX tool kit or using pure Javascript, I see a few sample on the web, but it is kind OF complicated.

I'm using modal popup extender and panel with calendar in it. Click the "Next / Previous Month" closes the modal popup. How do I tell the modal popup to ignore click events in a calendar control inside the panel targeted for popup? I'm confused because when using extender before, you had to click OkButton or Cancel to close popup. I have update panel for reason. I just minimized the code for easy review.

I'm in a Unique position where I have to display one popup above another popup. Problem is that popup B's background does not show above popup A's content and as such you ae still able to click on buttons, ect. on popup A.
I tried to rather disable the Tab Control on popup A with javascript once popup B is displayed, but it only disables textboxes and labels and nothing else.
getting popup B's background to display above popup A or help with disabling all controls (Contained in Tab Control) on popup A?
I have a popup with a form on it displaying account details for clients. Each client has at least 1 account but may have up to 999. The popup and form is displayed properly, but when i click on any of the < > << >> pager options, the popup closes instead of moving to the next record in the form.

View 2 RepliesMy application has been developed in .net 2.0 platformwith a masterpage which doesn't have 'doctype' and was working fine. Now i had to use modelpopup extender from the Ajax Control Tool Kit 1.0 version. when I use this the popup , it is coming up but the page in the IE shows that this page seems to be increased by indefinite size. I found the reason as it was due to 'Doctype' which is not there in the master page. Later i have added the doctype to my master page, now the popup and everything works fine but the page design has got changed.
View 1 RepliesI am using the form authentication for some folders in my application.So it will ask for login when any request comes to that page.I am using login control in the login page,also modal popup extender to show the login control in page load. That all works fine. The problem is, once the user hits the "Close" on the popup, it closes and then nothing happens,a blank login page is shown. I tried adding javascript to go back ,but did not help.is it possible to show the login page as window.open in javascript so that when i close the login page i will remain in the old page itself without redirecting to empty login page?

I have 4 modal popups on a form and one of them have update panel, inside that update panel i have some form elements such as label and text boxes and one reset button.
Reset button will clear the data of form elements and i kept that button as AsyncPostBackTrigger for that update panel.

I am using VS 2010 with .Net 4.0. I am using a HoverMenuExtender to display a text but just after the page is loaded, the popup panel is already displayed.

When user need to click the button in the parent update panel the modal popup will appear,
then in the popup if user click a button there I Need to show some text in a user control which placed in the panel.

I have an ajax modal popup extender in update panel. The modal popup extender has a label, checkbox and a dropdown list. When i open the popup first time (i.e Page_load) and select something and click on ok the data is populated correctly in another grid. If i open the popup second time and select some data and click on ok it is populating the grid with the current selected data as well as previously selected data.
