On this modalpopup I've a textbox and an 'ok' and 'cancel' button. I wish to find out what was entered in the textbox when the button is clicked I try this but the value of ((TextBox)button1.Page.FindControl("theTitle")) is null.

Feb 10, 2010My application has been developed in .net 2.0 platformwith a masterpage which doesn't have 'doctype' and was working fine. Now i had to use modelpopup extender from the Ajax Control Tool Kit 1.0 version. when I use this the popup , it is coming up but the page in the IE shows that this page seems to be increased by indefinite size. I found the reason as it was due to 'Doctype' which is not there in the master page. Later i have added the doctype to my master page, now the popup and everything works fine but the page design has got changed.

Feb 18, 2010I am using the form authentication for some folders in my application.So it will ask for login when any request comes to that page.I am using login control in the login page,also modal popup extender to show the login control in page load. That all works fine. The problem is, once the user hits the "Close" on the popup, it closes and then nothing happens,a blank login page is shown. I tried adding javascript to go back ,but did not help.is it possible to show the login page as window.open in javascript so that when i close the login page i will remain in the old page itself without redirecting to empty login page?

Jul 27, 2010I'm using modal popup extender and panel with calendar in it. Click the "Next / Previous Month" closes the modal popup. How do I tell the modal popup to ignore click events in a calendar control inside the panel targeted for popup? I'm confused because when using extender before, you had to click OkButton or Cancel to close popup. I have update panel for reason. I just minimized the code for easy review.

The good news: It is working successfully !
The bad news...
I am facing the following problem.
When the AutoComplete Ajax Control gives the Popup Box after typing few characters in the "CustomColumn" input, and if the grid row is near the bottom of the grid, the popup box will be truncated, or it will not be shown at all. This is becuase the height of the popup is bypassing the bottom edge of the EO.Web Grid Control.
I am sure this can be solved by styling AutoComplete Control. I tried to change the style, and it is now completely messed up.
How I can ensure the the AutoComplete Popup Box will be visible even if it is near the bottom of the grid ?
