I have 3 .net Lists items,I need to merge them all into one,to order them and bind them to a datagrid. However,I need a way of indicating which original list each item came from,so that I can identify this in the datagrid (change color or font etc).

View 3 RepliesI'm building a web page in Visual Studio 2005 with ASP.Net 2.0, and I'm using the 20229 version of the Ajax Control Toolkit. On the page, I have a bullet list with the displaymode set to LinkButton that is bound in the code behind with a list of names retrieved from a stored procedure. Then I have a PagingBulleted List extender so that you can click on a letter (A, B, C, etc.) and only names that begin with that letter will show. The issue I am having is when I first click on a name in the paged bullet list, the entire bullet list will flash on the screen really quickly then the paged bullet list will show again. This issue can easily be seen with the AjaxControlToolkit source code by editing the PagingBulletedList.aspx sample web page. When you add DisplayMode="LinkButton" to the bullet list in the PagingBulletedList.aspx page, then click on one of the items in the paged bullet list, the entire bullet list will show on screen before showing the paged bullet list.
Also, how can I run some code when a letter in the index of the paged bullet list is clicked? For example, If I return some names and I have A, C, G listed in the index of the paged list, I want to hide portions of the web page when A, C, or G is clicked. Is this possible?
Each tab panel should display with different colors based on the status. Is it actually possible to change the button text on the AsyncFileUpload control from "Browse" or "Select File" to something else without having to modify the control's source code? it seems I have to apply all sorts of hacks and workarounds for such a simple requirement. I fail to understand the authors of this brilliant control haven't thought about this (or is it too complicated for them to do it). and also Is it possible to have two buttons one for selecting the file and one for uploading?. because it is confusing if the user thinks if he is simply selecting the file where as it does the upload as well. at least if I can change the caption to "browse and upload" that makes it clear. I think these two functions are merged now without giving any ability for the user to separate them if he wishes to do so. if there is a simple workaround at least if there is no straight forward way to achieve this.

I am dynamically changing a slider control's maximum value based on an onchange event on a different control.

This works successfully. The bar's maximum value has changed, however, my slider can now be moved off of the bar, past the maximum value.

View 2 RepliesI am trying to change the color of the text in the title of a Calendar Extender Control from the AJAX Toolkit. I was having trouble getting the hover color to change, so I followed an example from this site:

But the font color doesn't seem to work. If I omit the ".ajax__calendar_hover", then the title text is white (until you hover over it).
