I am using ASP.NET to develop a website and I am going to use the jQuery datepicker in my website. I used following code, but it won't work. Does anyone know why?
I have implemented a lot fo JQuery features into my ASP.Net web application. I am using JQuery, JQueryUI, JQuery Validation and a couple of other plugins. They are all coexisting and working fine. This one page in my app has the JQueryUI tabs, Modal progress pop-up working just fine. This page also has a couple of JQuery AJAX calls to my server side events. That all works fine!
I just added a Jquery date picker to one of the text boxes on the first tab on my data entry form and nothing happens or is displayed when you click on the date textbox. I am going to post the HTML markup for the page and my JQuery code. Please let me know if you see anything glaring? HTML
I developed a page where i m using jquery treeview plugin to generate tree. It worked fine on FF, IE8 with out ajax.But when my page loads thro' ajax call in IE8, it is not collapsing or expanding tree.
I have a web page, where I'm using a jQuery UI datepicker on an asp.net textbox, which is located inside an UpdatePanel. Here is a description of what I do roughly
When I first load the page, everything works fine. When clicking inside the textbox, the datepicker pops up. But when I click the button, and an async postback is executed, the datepicker no longer pops up, when I click the field again.I know that the problem is because the UpdatePanel completely replaces all the contained HTML when it is updated, so in effect, it is a new text field, which has not been initialized with the datepicker functionality.
I guess that I should not use $(document).ready() here to initialize my datepickers, but where is a good place to place the initialization code? Or is there a way that I can retrigger the initialization code after an AJAX update?
As you can see, the above checks to see if a task has an id > 0 (we're not creating a new one) if it does, it uses the date on the task, if not it defaults to today. I would expect the datepicker UI element to show up, but instead I get:
"Microsoft JScript runtime error: Object doesn't support this property or method" on the $("#dDueDate").datepicker();
It is probably a very simple mistake, so don't over-analyze. As I said, this is the first time I've dealt with MVC or JQuery so I'm lost as to where to start.
I've a dropdown and a listview inside an updatepanel (Master/Child relationship) so based on value selected in dropdown the listview gets populated. The Listview allow user to perform Edit/Insert/delete of records. I have to implement a scenario when a user is editing/inserting a record and if he tries to navigate away/change the value in dropdown he should be prompted to save the data and if he choose yes in JS Confirm Dialogue then the currently edited/inserting record should be saved (for which i'm trying to mimic the click of the update/insert button using js). I've attached change eventhandler of dropdown using JQuery which is getting called properly bind. [Code]....
This code gets bind using Sys.Application.add_load(saveChanges); I also tried the following Sys.WebForms.PageRequestManager.getInstance().add_initializeRequest(saveChanges);Sys.WebForms.PageRequestManager.getInstance().add_endRequest(saveChanges). The eventhandler gets called correctly but the click() doesn't work! Also the reason I'm calling click() method of button is to perform the validations via RequireValidator/RangeValidators.
I have a Jquery UI datepicker control in my asp.net MVC application and it works fine in IE and Firefox but it doens't work in chrome when I click the datepicker button. Here is my Index view:
I have a slide in div to display some dynamic data after button submit in it. If you open the div after page load it displays with message "Click on button".
But after submitting the slide effects stops immediately and not responding at all & even message is not updating in jquery slide box. Below is my code:
Public result As String = "" Protected Sub Page_Load(ByVal sender As Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs) Handles Me.Load If Not Page.IsPostBack Then result = "Click on button"
Coding with ASP.NET 3.5 C#, jquery.1.4.2, jquery-ui-1.8.2
My textbox is in fourth asp:View of an asp:MultiView which is not active on PageLoad. My Page is also a content page with a master page. The textbox is created like
Now i am having two dropdown one is asp dropdownlist and 2ND is MultiSelect-DropDownList-with-CheckBoxes. 2nd dropdown is populating on selected value of first.On page load it works fine. Now, on change of value in dropdown, selected index change 2nd dropdown (MultiSelect-DropDownList-with-CheckBoxes) fills but i see a list box instead of dropdown.
everytime the user selects a date from my datepicker the for some reason instead of staying focused on the are the date picker is in it scrolls to the top of the page.
Heres the function located at the bottom of my asp.net page under the
and also on postback my datepickers stop working. For example i have a dropdownlist that causes postback and if the user uses the drop downlist then the datepickers stop working
In my page without using updatepanel page open firsttime it fires only single time, after using updatepanel page load fires twice firsttime page open.. how to solve it.
I want to use Updatepanel on one of the page in website. I have used updatepanel but it does not show any effect of UpdatePanel like Page autorefresh. I have used update panel for whole page, still it got refresh on button click event on the page. what kind of settings I have to do to work update panel on my web-site. Note that: I have added dll reference for AjaxControlToolkit. I don't want to upgrade my website to Ajax enabled website.
I have the same problem as [URL] However, the solution doesn't work for me since I'm using .Net 4.0 and xhtmlConformance is not there from start.
Basically, using a master page, the RadioButtonList still do the whole page postback even it's in the UpdatePanel. When I put the exact same code in a standalone page without a master page, it works as expected.
protected void Page_Load(object sender, EventArgs e) { Session["ID"] = "2"; string strConnString = ConfigurationManager.ConnectionStrings["BSDConnectionString"].ConnectionString; var con = new SqlConnection(strConnString); using (var sda = new SqlDataAdapter()) { SqlCommand cmd = new SqlCommand();
[Code] .....
That was my code , now lets see what my problem is :
I am getting only two dates in a single row from sql to my asp.net webform and then bindng those dates in jQuery UI Datepicker. Now if i set session to 1 then date picker works well but if i put session = 2 , it shows the end date till 2020 which is wrong.
Below are the dates which are fetched from database and i have copied here....
When Session["ID"] = "1";
Start Date : 01/07/2014 00:00:00 End Date : 05/02/2015 00:00:00
When Session["ID"] = "2";
Start Date : 07/04/2015 00:00:00 End Date : 27/08/2016 00:00:00
I have set my mindate to startdate and maxdate to end date....
Also point of interest is that if i don't fetch values from database and use only List<string> in my web method then every thing works well. Like this :
[WebMethod] public static List<string> GetDates() { List<string> arr = new List<string>(); arr.Add("2014-07-01"); arr.Add("2015-02-05"); return arr; }
I would to know how can it be achieved by loading page content into a specific DIV without entirely refreshing a page. I mean if I click on linkbutton or a normal link on my menu bar like Contact us, the conact us content is loaded into the DIV and the same if another link is clicked on the menu Bar.
need to display data through List view but with ajax loader. As i scroll the window scrollbar next 20 or 25 rows to be displayed .. if scroll again then next 20 or 25 rows...
