AJAX :: Trying To Emulate CalendarExtender To Match An Existing Calendar Using CSS

I'm trying to emulate an Ajax CalendarExtender to match an existing ASP:Calendar using CSS. Here are the properties (not in CSS but on the actual .aspx) of the regular ASP:Calendar:

So far setting several CSS settings, nothing appears but a white calendar with black numbers.

I have two text boxes (from date and to date). Based on your demo i have disabled the future date but my requirement is
1). First i have select the from date. eg: 21-02-2013
2). Now i am selecting TO DATE. eg:21-01-2013
Now my requirement is i need to disable dates until 21-02-2013 to current date. Then user not able to select ToDate as 21-01-2013 i need to provide only option to select from 22-02-2013 to current date.

I am using Framework 2.0, ASP.NET AJAX 1.0 and Visual Studio 2005.I am using 2 Ajax Calendar Extender in my page. I am using a text box and html image control and setting the TargetControlID to the test box id and the PopupButtonID to the image control name. When i click the first image the calendar pops up and without choosing a date if i click the second image the second calendar control opens on top of the first calendar control. Is there any way i can make the previous one disappear without choosing a date leaving the calendar control associated with the last image clicked.

Currently, I am using Calendar control on ASPX page. Instead, I want to use AJAX Calendar Extender control because of the animation effect and the way it moves between years making if much more impressive than Calendar control.Is it possible to display Calendar extender on page permanently, just like Calendar control?

I am building a forum and I want to be able to use simple square bracket tags to allow users to format text. I am currently accomplishing this by parsing the string and looking for the tags. It's very tedious, especially when I run into a tag like this [URL]. Having to parse the attribute, and the value, and make sure it has proper opening and closing tags is kind of a pain and seems silly. I know how powerful regular expressions are but I'm not good at them and they frustrate me to no end. I think an example would get me started. Just a regex for finding tags like [b]bolded text[/b] and tags with attributes like the link

when using CalendarExtender with a TextBox, when i press mouse into the TextBox, a Calendar pop-ups. I want to know, does here asynchronous communication took place for bringing this calender from server to the browser ? or initially at the time of page load itself that calendar was loaded in the browser ?

I am having a very weird problem with 'CalendarExtender' as Ajax control in my application.
I added this extender to one of my textbox controls, but when I run the application and click on the textbox nothing happens. It does not show any errors either.I have added all the necessary references:

Having an issue with the combobox overwriting the user input if there is a partial match.

If there is a record such as "NETEX" and the user types in "New Item", an item not in the data source, then the value is "NEw Item". If the user goes back to change the "E" to "e", it replaces the entire line with "NETEX".
Using CaseSensitive="true" is not an option as the user would have to capiltalize the beginning of every input to get hits, allowing for case-sensitive duplicates.
Have tried DropDownStyle="Simple" and all flavors of AutoCompleteMode to no success.

Strange problem with CalendarExtender

The text box is updated correctly if it is empty or if the date is invalid e.g. 9/292010.
If the current text is 9/29/2010 and a different date is clicked then the calendar stays open with the previous date selected. I get the following error message "e.getDateOnly is not a function".

I have the following calendarextender connected to a text box (TextBoxDate). When I choose a new date, I can see that the textbox is updated. However, when I call the text box in a vb script, run when I click a button, the text box is null. The script worked fine when I would enter the date by hand. The failure began when I added the calendarextender.
