Once the Add button would be clicked, another set of entries can be entered below the previous row.
Once the Save Button will be clicked then all the entered data would be save to a table on a database..
I just have a simple ASP Table seen here:

My issue comes when I want to count the rows present on the C# side it always lists 1 Row. The row for the header entry.
How can I correctly grab the accurate row count on the C# (Codebehind) side?

I need to let my user add rows dynamically to a table, and after doing some research, it seems the best way to do this is through a GridView bound to a DataTable. However, I'm really struggling adding dropdownlists to the datatable, and this showing them in the gridview.
Here's the design I want:
ddl1 | ddl2 | ddl3 | ddl4 | ddl5 | ddl6 | ddl7 | textbox
When the user opens the form, he or she will be presented with one row. ddl2 etc will be populated when ddl1 is selected etc etc. When appropriate, the textbox will be enabled allowing the user to enter a comment (this is to report errors, and since users are, at best, not to trust to write the same thing twice, I need to use ddls.
Now comes the question - how do I add a ddl to the datatable? I've tried several ways, but I cannot get them added.
I've been searching for hours trying to figure this out. I understand that somehow I need to recreate the control in page_load. I think seeing the code will let us better understand what I'm trying to do.

I follow this code [URL] it works. But the example is show only for 1 row.. come to my case when user want 12 rows for the first time gridview row load. I manage to add it by using for loop. but i stuck at the how to set previous data when user add new row to 13th row. The gridview seems like refresh and the entered data is gone!

I need to produce a from where I can add multiple parts. Each time a user enters a part number, the description should be populated. The user can then click add and this part and description will be shown below. They have the option to add as many parts as they require. Once all parts are added the user fills in some general info eg description and then once a submit button is clicked all part info will be inserted into a table and general info will be inserted into another table with one unique ID.

When a user clicks the url for the first time a new session is created and at that time I am adding a entry in a table(say :Users) with username and logintime and sessionid etc. Below is the logic Iam using in form_load event of Default.aspx

When I check the users info in the table some entries are created with same userid and same sessionids with different login time, how this is possible. I just want to know who is logged in and what time.
I am creating a system in ASP.NET VB whereby a user can enter data into a textbox and the data is populated into a label - easy right? Well, yes the first time is easy. But what I need is... kinda like Twitter, one textbox, multiple labels. I have two tables for storing language translations - tblEN and tblES. They have the same structure which is nvcEnglish and nvcLocal - both nVarChar fields.
In nvcLocal of the Spanish table, I enter the Spanish translations of words and phrases used within my app. Problem is, when I add a bunch of new records to the English table I also have to go in and repeat the data entry into the Spanish table. I am wondering if there is a way to import the newly added records into the Spanish table using Transact SQL?The plain language query would be something like:

I'm working with 2 sites (Intranet and Extranet) that share the same .net membership database (the standard out of the box version). The Intranet and Extranet site users are stored in separate "Applications" within the membership database. I create all users for both sites from within the intranet site. Everything seems to be working except that when i create a user for the extranet site I end up with 2 rows for that user in aspnet_users. One with userID (guid) that I send in and another with a different guid. I'm assusming that .net is creating an anonymous user. The intranet membership provider is the default.
I could delete this row through sql but am hoping for a more elegant solution. Any suggestions?
