Oct 7, 2010i'm new to this forum so please don't punish me if i do somethin wrong :).Okay what i need is a Marquee in ASP.NET C# which consits of something like buttons, hyperlinks or something like that.The arquee as it self is no problem at all. It Shows Data as a String from the SQL Database seperated by a "-"The problem is that i need for each "entry" of this marquee an onClick functionality and that each entry should hold a guid as property.So that if i click on one entry the onClick function fires and get's the guid property to get data from the database relating on that guid.

when i use the query (SELECT KNo, companyto FROM (InOut) where PosnASOn >= now()-2)
in query analyser it works fine and the data is displayed but when i use the complete code .vb is not dispying data in to label.

Mar 12, 2010I am having trouble with getting the Jscroller2 too work inside an updatepanel after I have added a marquee as a newsbanner. - (The marquee is running outside the updatepanel)Beforer the marquee was present I could trigger the JavaScript with:

Now the Jscroller2 only works when the page is loading the first time and not after the updatepanel has updated.So my question is how do I get the Javascript to fire after the updatepanel have updated when a marquee is present?

I am now ready to list wall posts on user's pages.Having just been taught about DataLists (using tables), I thought I'd use one. However, I'm told "The messages list must be displayed without using table tags (<table>, .<td>, etc.)"
This is not really a coding question, just asking for a recommendation on how I should go about displaying posts without tables while still easy on the eyes (including name, the poster's picture, the message, and a date).
