ArrayList Is Not Displaying The First Record, Its Starting At 2nd Record

I have the following code, for testing im just writing the list to the page, but noticed that its missing the first record from the results. When i execute the procedures on the database, they return the correct values, so i know that part is working, the
next part is for records that should be returning 1 record, the arraylist is empty, even though it should return1 record. What am i doing wrong with the code below? ( gratssec is a class that contains the procedures we are using.

i have design a web application having suppliers table using SqlDatasource..
i have a master page in my design and other form are bound to a context menu..
Now i have displayed the records in the gridview..all i wanted is after i select a record in the gridview it will display the selected record in detailview from another aspx form..
i was able to create the link to another aspx form but the data that it display is the first data from the gridview not the data that i select.

I want to do is to get the record number in my database of the first record that matches my search. Its to skip to a random point in the database based on user input.

It returns the number of records that preceed the first one to match the string. I have tried to call this procedure from MVC and it always returns -1, so I have a fundamental problem there. I have also tried ot figure out how to just duplicate the code in MVC and I also cannot seem to get anywhere on that front.
Does anyone know a simple elegant solution to either embed this code diretly into MVC or to call my stored procedure from MVC and get the correct integer response back, instead of -1? I am engaged in relearning development after many years, so I am getting stuck on the basics.

I have a delete button bellow my gridview and I want a pop up to show when no record is selected and tell the user to first select a record. The button click event would show the pop up, but my gridview data blanks out.

I'm very new on VWD, but I got the hang of it for the past 2 weeks(thank you for all the videos posted here in ASP.NET),but I'm really weak on the coding part(vb & c#),except for all the sample shown on the tutorials. Anyways, I have a simple project that
does insert, update & delete to SQL express using the details view. But to complete my project, I need to add a button that will create an event to restore the very last record inserted in SQL and display it back into the details view for minor modification
and nserted again as the newest record with the mod. I'm doing this so user, doesn't need to re-key-in redundant information, like names, original date & time etc, and just make modification on the description of the last record.....

I am counting from a table for that i have written code as below

there is no record related to DropDownList1.SelectedValue. but as i am counting if(dt.rows.count) and i put break point on the bolded part it shows 1 record. how it can be possible?

I have a dropdownlist bound to a table and the selection filters the detailsview. After a new record is inserted using the detailsview, the new record is displayed in the detailsview and the initial record is displayed in the dropdownlist. After the insert, how can I get the dropdownlist to display the new record?

I have a series of record IDs in an array that I pass to a DataGrid for Data Binding I want to show the details of each record ID in every row of the datagrid, for example I can put a detailsview in the itemtemplate of the datagrid and use an objectdatasource's select method for retrieving the information for a specific record ID but how to pass these record IDs to objectdatasource? is this a correct example and how can I implement this?

As I understand the "gridview" control has a select link that can be enabled, I am fairly new to web development but what I was hoping to do was to click on the select link and then have the record that I have selected display on a seperate webpage. I am using Table Adapter to insert records into my database. What I am trying is, whenever user enters his Name and Address into the textbox on the webpage, I am going to displaying it in a Gridview. Now if second member will do the same thing thing the GridView will be updated and his Name and Address will display in second row and likewise for other users. But what happened in my code is when second user will try to add his record, it remove the record of first user and add the record of second at row1.
