Configuration :: Attaching Database On Live Godaddy Server?

i m having an Hosting with Godaddy server , now my problem is i want to upload(attach) my machine database to godaddy sql server . i have also check all the function and configration on godaddy but i m not getting how i can do that. if i try to take remote connection , this also not possbile in godaddy ( due to security they are disable this function )wht is the other way i can attach my database (.bkp) file to live godaddy server.

Now my problem is after I do all of the above ie create the test.sql file and try to upload it on the server, the query analyzer at godaddy gives me an error saying "INCORRECT SYNTAX NEAR GO" ,"INCORRECT SYNTAX NEAR IF EXISTS" ,INCORRECT SYNTAX NEAR )" ,etc
Now I am using sqlserver 2008 while the server on godaddy is sqlserver 2005.

I have a database already working with Godaddy (sql server). I use it to store membership feature information for my website. Im developing the site in VS 2008 with Visual Basic language. Site works fine when running from VS. When I upload the site to godaddy withe default.aspx as the home page, I get a server 500 error, Here is my web.config -

I hosted my project on Godaddy server and they say that the settings required for Url rewriting was already there.But I am getting a blank page when trying to use virtual url to redirect to a aspx page.

I'm a newbie in development, and i'm facing a grave concern here. Sql Server Management Studio (2008) does not seem to be able to attach a database that i've already created in Sql Server 2005 express within my ASP.NET application. When I try to attach the database, by clicking "Attach" after right clicking the Database note in object explorer, I get to see a dialog box with an Add button. I then click that button, and try to navigate to the database, and I'm simply not able to reach that folder!!! The folder containing the databse physically exists, but i can't see it when i'm trying to browse to it.This is a Windows 7 (home edition) laptop, with VS 2008.

I have deployed my website/app on GoDaddy hosting and am getting this Internal server error message only when trying to view the /stats folderI have forms authentication on, and when I try and visit this folder I get redirected to my CMS login page which is really strange. When I disable authentication I then get this internal server error.Anyone ever experience something like this? GoDaddy support don't and never seem to a have a clue about anything.

The DB I am working with is for memberships. Looking forward, I will load the website to a host provider. I think that the process requires that I also load a database with the hosting company on their server as well. Meaning that I will have two applications, with a connection string to connect the two (the web app, and the database). Is this the normal process for bringing a website live?

I have a developed a new website for online document management. I have setup everything on the local network and the site is available on localhost. What I want to do is to make it available on internet. Its my first web project and configuring IIS and resolving database problems after publishing was real headache for me apart from development work (thats another long story). But i have made it up to here and now there is one more step.
How to make a web server live?
I am using asp .net 3.5. The server is in my home (windows xp, IIS 6, microsoft sql server 2005, 10MB bandwidth for internet connection).
I dont want to buy a domain because the website is not commercial. Its just me and my friend who will be using the website and we dont mind putting in ip address. Also, do I have to get a static ip from my ISP?

So in my project i need to display charts in an admin panel. I tried MSCharts first, works locally but doesn't work on live server, found later that it's a host permissions issue and most hosts won't accept it.
Then i searched around and found a control called WebCharts, used it and it worked locally, but on live server i got the same permissions issue.

I am using the asp.net 3.5. i have development a website using master page, user control, update panel, asp.net ajax such as loading box and message box etc. when i testing the site in my local, it show with the normal speed. but after i upload the website into the live server, the loading box and message box is slow loading.if there is a popup of messagebox, it is slower and when i click the ok button on the message box. it seem close in very slow and have a duplicate box come out. i have no idea on it. why it is so slow when uploaded to the server?

When i tried to attach 2008 database in sql server 2008 it is throwing the error-
"The database 'actitle' cannot be opened because it is version 655. This server supports version 611 and earlier. A downgrade path is not supported.Could not open new database 'actitle'. CREATE DATABASE is aborted. (Microsoft SQL Server, Error: 948)"

What I am trying to do is install an open source application to my existing asp.net website. Within my solution in VS2008, I have two "Web Sites", one for my web site and one for the application (forums).I have my web site published to the main domain, and the forums web site published to a subdomain. They both work great.The problem I am having is that I cannot get them to communicate to each other, for example they can't access each others resources. They each have a separate membership provider, but I am attempting to combine them so that if the user logs into one, they are logged into the other. The reason that I have these as two separate web sites within one project is so that the forums can be hosted at the subdomain and the site would just be the main domain.My question is, would it even be possible to accomplish what I am trying to do using separate domains, and if so what would be the best approach?

I am using the login control from visual web developer 2008 express edition. Works fine locally. So i upload everything to godaddy and the login controls dont work. I cant login/register.There error i get is A network-related or instance-specific error occurred while establishing a connection to SQL Server. The server was not found or was not accessible. Verify that the instance name is correct and that SQL Server is configured to allow remote connections.My web.config looks like this:

I have a routine to display an image on an aspx page. The url for the image uses imagerender.aspx . This is simply an empty page with code behind:

Ok, this work fine when testing on my local machine, but when I move it to the live server, it comes up with an empty image box!
It looks like there must be a problem with security, maybe with ISS.
Does anyone know what changes I can make to fix this problem or what setting to change in IIS 7?

I have spent hours researching a solution in the forums and newsgroups with no success. I created a simple ajax enabled website using VS2005 express. It works fine locally but when I upload it to Godaddy I get an error "the message recieved from the server could not be parsed".
