i have one independent form where i am checking read only access of an xml file , if the file is read only then i have to display message in the status bar of MDI form. since i am using independent form to valid xml file, status bar of the MDI form is not displaying the error message. now how to display message?
i have a web form in which i ve a button which will open a sliding pop up box(jquery) on click of it. In the same page i ve also a linkbutton for downloading files. Now the problem is first time wen i click that button it does nothing. (will not open popup box). Once i click on download button and then if i click that button it will open popup box along with download dialog box. Why is it happening so... is it because am using same event click for both these.
but download option is implemented in gridview_rowcommand()..
My page scrolls down a bit, so the problem is when the ASP.NET validation kicks in (its a server side validation that sets a table row to visible if there was a failed validation for a given input box). The problem is, when there is an error, the page scrolls back to the top.How can I force the page to the bottom? can use <a name="asdf"></name> but the page doesn't refresh normally since its a asp.net image button.
when i click "submit button" on my page it's show this error..where is the problem actually?
"Invalid postback or callback argument. Event validation is enabled using <pages enableEventValidation="true"/> in configuration or <%@ Page EnableEventValidation="true" %> in a page. For security purposes, this feature verifies that arguments to postback or callback events originate from the server control that originally rendered them. If the data is valid and expected, use the ClientScriptManager.RegisterForEventValidation method in order to register the postback or callback data for validation."
We have an application that runs with IE. Iīm trying to set up a ASP site. The application has some kind of autofunction. If the textboxes is named correctly they will read the data from a SQL server table (eg names, addresses).
I have set up a panel and a button (button2"). When the button is used the panel becomes visible. However this does also resets the form to itīs initial state. Letīs say I have changed the name input and then press the button, itīs reset the form and inputs to itīs earlier value. I donīt want that to happen. Also the button "mail" isnīt visible until I press the button to show the panel, but the button "mail" is not included in the panel.
I have a Web User Control I created for authentication. The web user control is inside the box below. Clicking any button (1 or 2) below works correct as it goes to the correct c# button click event in the code behind file. If I press enter on fields a or b it goes to the correct callback (button1's) if I press enter on field c it still goes to button1's callback, not button2's
How can I give my web user control a nice self contained for and view state etc, so it wont mess with the remainder of the page's form?
i m facing this problem for sum time now, and not found a solution yet.here it goes i have a webform on on which i have certain input fields, and a button trick here is i also want this form to connect to a payment gateway so i want this form to post some values to payment gateway, so on button click first it shouldsave the date and then post values and redirect user to payment gateway, during my tries i found out, it will only do one of the two if i specify form actiona and form method it will not save the data but directly redirect, which is not correct,i want both things to happen saving as well as post to payment gateway
I have a simple ASP.NET web application for data collecting (a webform with two text fields and a Telerik editor, a button for submit with server side OnClick event listener attached). The event listener saves data on DB and then redirects to another page.Under development web server the application works fine. When published under IIS7 the event listener doesn't fire. The only way i found to make it work is to specify the action on the form tag:
I am trying to get a form to insert on a button click. whilst underlying code is working, and the redirect fires. There are no build errors or debugging errors being thrown either, but the form values do not insert.
Can anyone see what is wrong with the following code?
I would like to display the selected stored procedure information not executing or some other kind. I will have my list of stored procedures displayed on the form where the user can select the required and if click on Generate button i would like to display the text of that stored procedure as it is on the web form Sample Image
i need a pop up form in asp.net 3.5 like by clicking a button a small pop up form should appear with some controls after entering data that form should disappear and that values should reflect on main form.
What has gone wrong. NOTE in both cases I got the blue wavy line under txFindCandidate but when free within a ContentPlaceHolder the code works.... when nested within LogInView LoggedInTemplate it fails.
