I have 1 gridview
In gridview there are 4 asp textbox
textbox 1 = key in number
textbox 2 = key in number
textbox 3 = key in number
textbox 4 = total
How do I sum all the value that are key in from textbox 1 to 3 and automatically display in textbox 4.
Let say:
textbox 1 = 1
textbox 2 = 2
textbox 3 = 4
total:
textbox 4 = 7
if I key in one of the textbox , the value also appear in textbox 4
textbox 1 = 1
.
.
automatically appear textbox 4 = 1
.
.
textbox 2 = 2
.
.
automatically appear textbox 4 = 3 ...

My database is SQL and i am using a stored procedure as under. The output is almost correct and i want to rectfy a small error in it

in the above procedure i didnt use the str_dt which is the person joined in that comapnt initially. The mistake i had noticed is that if a person joines in 3 jan 2014 and the date and year selected in dropdownlist is Dec 2013. The person who had joined in 3 Jan 2014 is also gets displayed in it. but it should not be.

i am using a gridview in my web page,i used to bind the database records to the gridview..my columns are name,empid,company name,pl leave,sl leave,total leave taken here total leave taken is not a database fields,in the page i want to fill the records once loaded pl leave and sl leave is added and display in the total leave taken column..it working properly when all pl ans sl columns fill with numbers,if some pl and sl leave having blank values.it showing an error like input sting was not in correct format..this is my code

in my asp.net_vb web there is a text box (textbox1) in which a date is dispalyed from database (eg 21-Mar-2012) in another text box (textbox2) i want to display
if the date is less than 30 Jun then the textbox2 should display 1 Jul+the year of textbox1
if the textbox1 date is greater than 30 Jun the text box2 should display 1 Dec + the year of textbox1

I am using gridview control in asp.net and doing insertion using template field in gridview. In c# i am getting those textbox values by type casting and id should return a integer value. i enter values in all fields of gridview and giving a command name as AddNew to insert the new values, insertion takes place but all fields are empty and id field is 0. how to take the values from textbox and also i should return a integer value for id. i paste my code below.

I have a gridview that calls a stored procedure that allows the user to search a parts list. In the gridview, I added a textox for Quantity and a button to Add to Quote. The idea here is that the user searches for parts, enters a quantity for a selected part, part is added to quote and user searches again for more parts. Here's my gridview code:

1. How do I display the gridview values including textbox Quantity in my listbox?
2. How do I ensure that parts remain in the listbox after another search is performed? If it's viewstate, can you provide an example of how to go about doing this?
3. The values in the listbox will ultimately be written to the database on an insert record when customer creates a quote. Is there a way to streamline this process so that the insert is started when gridview textbox quanity is entered? I'm thinking about using a wizard control with first step being a display of selected parts, culiminating in an insert statement.

I have a gridview control, I have 3 BoundField columns(Question, Answer, row_id) and 1 TemplateField column(Translate) in which i have textbox. I have more than 50 records and i have enabled paging. This was working fine and then I was tinkering around and I can't figure out what I did to break it. When I stepthrough the debugger, the for each stmt cannot read values from the radiobutton list or the textbox, it only show "" for each. I double checked the id names between the code behind and the markup.
