i have added a hyperlink in the gridview and i am displaying the image names in the grid as hyperlinks
when i click on the hyperlink in the grid, the related image has to be displayed in the same page but in another div which is next to gridview
but for me ,image is displaying in another page

I am trying to change the image url of an image button in my gridview. I cannot seem to be able to do this in the code behind. Is there a way I can do this through the image buttons controls?

I have a gridview in my web page. I have boundcolumn,checkboxcolumn and a linkbutton column. The commandName of the linkbutton column is "Select" The name of the template checkbox is "chkSwapSelect". I want to check the checkbox of the linkbutton clicked row. When i click the linkbutton of the gridview RowCommand Event fires

I have a standard asp button and on click it triggers:

Problem is, when the button is clicked the background doesn't shift 70 pixels to the right.
Is this the correct way of going about this or is it a question of syntax?
I have a need to change the image (bound) in a gridview after it has been databound. Basically i need to assign a photo to a record and I want to change the image url for that row. I can change the text in any of the cells of the row but I can't seem to find property for the imageurl.his is what I do to change the text(cell 5).

When I click on the first column(linkbutton) it should show message in updateprogres template and for all other click, it should not show that message......like udpateprogress should not be visisble. Updateprogress.visible = false in rowcommandevent of gridview but it is not working.

In the ItemTemplate of the TemplateField of the GridView I have a LinkButton with an image inside of it. Normally I do this when I have an image with some text next to it but this time, for whatever reason, I just have the image. This causes the UpdatePanel to always do a full postback.

How do I check which LinkButton is clicked in the Page_Load of the page. This is to avoid calls to service so that it only executes what is present in its event.
