im working on drag drop rows from one grid view to another,its working fine until page size is 1,when records exceeds from 5(as my page size in grid view is 5) 2 pages are display in grid view,,now when i drag row from other grid view to this gridview ,row s dropped in this gridview but beside this it also drop on pages (1,2)display on this (destination)grid view..

I tried to keep all the data in the gridview when paging, but when I try to save it, which appears in my database only when it is active pages .. ex: in the first and second page I have data in gridview .. when I save, the stored in the database only the first or second page of course .. so I like to keep all my data in gridview when paging..

If I dont do pagination and save the file, the gridview just breaks up and half is displayed on firstpage and half on next page. is there a way that if the gidview cannot fit on one page, I can break it and display rest of it on nextpage?

I cannot get the Drag and Drop functionality of Web Parts is to work. I have a very simple test page with two WebPartZones. . In the OnInit method of the code behind I put the page in design mode. In the first zone I have a textbox.At runtime the text box renders as a web part. When I hover over the web part header my mouse pointer changes the 'move' pointer, but I cannot drag the item. I do not see it dragging and the part never moved. am using Visual Studio 2010 with IE 8. I have tried IE8 in compatibility mode and regular mode. We are using IE7 version with OS as Windows XP. Drag drop is not working when we publish the web site.
Also these widgets are not working for published web sites on the server with OS Windows 2003 server.
I am using AjaxContrToolKit (AjaxControlToolkit.Compat.DragDrop.DragDropScripts.js) in my application to provide the drag and drop facility . After implementing the same in the application , observed that working fine in IE and Firefox browser . But the same is not working in Safari and WebKit (Chrome and Safari) browser . In these browsers(both Safari and Webkit), while clicking on the top of the panel getting scrolled up .

Why is the auto paging not working for me? Is that because it only works for BoundField? Mine is mostly
templatefield. Other than auto paging, everything else works fine. I have at least 20 rows, so once I
specify AllowPaging="ture" and PageSize="5", it should give 5 rows a page for 4-5 pages, right?

In the GridView, I show the quantity in a text box and handle the OnTextChanged event for that textbox. Now the problem, is how can I keep the changed quantity text in session or view state, and in which row, so that I can update my GridView and bind that data again to the GridView?
