C# - How To Retrieve All GridViewRows From A GridView Control With Paging Enabled

I am working on Add To Cart Functionality, and I have added a GridView control with paging enabled. In the GridView, I show the quantity in a text box and handle the OnTextChanged event for that textbox. Now the problem, is how can I keep the changed quantity text in session or view state, and in which row, so that I can update my GridView and bind that data again to the GridView?

how to get the total row counts in a Gridview control with default paging enabled? My gridview control is bind to an ObjectDataSource control.
The problem I am having right now is that when I loop through the gridview control, it only contains the total row for the current page being displayed on the screen and not
the total row in the entire grid. I am using the the for each loop.
time for some expertise. I have a datalist which contains a radiobutton in the itemtemplate. This radiobutton is disabled (set enabled to false) by default. On the html output I have a checkbox, which, when ticked, enables the radiobuttons through javascript. This is all working fine. The rb's are enabled and I can check them. However when the page is posted back. The checked property is always false.

This code is working fine when the initial state of the radiobuttons set to enabled server side.
im working on drag drop rows from one grid view to another,its working fine until page size is 1,when records exceeds from 5(as my page size in grid view is 5) 2 pages are display in grid view,,now when i drag row from other grid view to this gridview ,row s dropped in this gridview but beside this it also drop on pages (1,2)display on this (destination)grid view..
I currently have a GridView control on my aspx page with paging enabled and I need to loop through the entire row collection/count to process the selected records. With my current code, it will only loop through the current page of GridView row.

I tried to keep all the data in the gridview when paging, but when I try to save it, which appears in my database only when it is active pages .. ex: in the first and second page I have data in gridview .. when I save, the stored in the database only the first or second page of course .. so I like to keep all my data in gridview when paging..

I have a gridview and having trouble with display when the webpage is saved as pdf. I can see just the first page of gridview. If I dont do pagination and save the file, the gridview just breaks up and half is displayed on firstpage and half on next page. is there a way that if the gidview cannot fit on one page, I can break it and display rest of it on nextpage?

So far, I've seen (and I'm using the following) scripts to show/hide a div or other controls depending on another control in ASP.NET

and that works fine when the user selects either option of the radiobuttonlist. However, when I assign that radiobuttonlist a value of 1 or yes on my Page_Load on code behind, that isn't (and probably can't be) caught by jQuery, and my div remains invisible even though the control has a value of Yes/1. So, do I need to set the visibility of that div from code behind, or is there a way in jQuery to force a scan of these dependencies after i've set the values for the main controls in code behind?
I have datagrid with paging enabled that can have 10 rows per page. Also I have DataTable with 16 rows. I want to fill the datagrid dynamically with 'for' loop to go over all the DataTable and fill the DataGrid.I understand that there is a problem when the counter will hit row 11. Do I need to change the page of the datagrid when counter will be 11? Because it doesnt let me add more than 10 rows in the datagrid.
Is there any good solution for ajax enabled Grid with pageing and sorting which only brings the required data from database? I mean it should only bring the data from the database which is to be displayed on the particular page number of the grid.

I have a gridview which has TWO rows (assume this will always be the case). The grid is set in a way that whenever "Edit" is clicked, whole gridview turns into edit mode. (I mean all the rows)

I have a problem while displaying the data from the grid to the excel.I have implemented pageing and the problem is the page that is displayed is only exported to the excel not all the pages.
I'm trying to extend the GridView control to enable sorting and paging for any situation.
When using my control I am fetching data from a database and filling a DataSet with it, then binding the GridView upon every page load. My first question would be, is this the correct approach?
To sort the GridView I am overriding the OnSorting method which stores the sort expression and direction in the ViewState, then creates a DataView and utalises the Sort method to sort the underlying data. It then sets the Data Source to this DataView and rebinds the GridView.
Paging is handled by OnPageIndexChanging which simply sets the PageIndex property and again rebinds the GridView.
My problem is; when any control causes a postback my GridView is no longer sorted, presumably because it is persistently rebound. If I don't rebind it then the GridView is empty on postback since the data isn't automatically stored in the ViewState. I have considered saving the data source in the ViewState but I would assume that this is bad practice for large amounts of data? - also DataViews are not seralisable.
The only solution I can think of currently is to override OnDataBound and sort the data every time. This results in a double sort when paging triggers a postback which seems inefficient. Code illustration of this below,

I'm looking for the cleanest 'best practice' solution as this is a learning exercise more than anything else.
I am trying to do efficient paging with a gridview without using a datasource control. By efficient, I mean I only retrieve the records that I intend to show.I am trying to use the PagerTemplate to build my pager functionality.In short, the problem is that if I bind only the records that I intend to show on the current page, the gridview doesn't render its pager template, so I don't get the paging controls.It's almost as if I MUST bind more records than I intend to show on a given page, which is not something I want to do.
currently it works if i remove the PagerSetting or remove the PagerTemplate so if have both (PagerSetting & PagerTemplate) then my page number not display.
my qeustion is: how can i display both (PagerTemplate and PagerSetting) togather at the bottom of the Gridview? plese see the below source code.
I have an IEnumerable object (IEnumerable<Class>) and I would like to retrieve a specified line from the object. So if I'm on page two I would like to select row two from the IEnumerable object and then pass it on to another class etc. I'm a bit stuck at the moment, any ideas?
Is there a way to use the GridView paging and having the links not use JavaScript. So that when you click on the page number 5 (for example) that link is a hyperlink.
I have a gridview control on a .aspx page (content form).
Paging is enabled on gridview control. It displays the page numbers at the bottom of the .aspx page. When I click on a page number say 3, I get error saying the "Exception Details: System.Web.HttpException: The GridView 'GridViewReconresults' fired event PageIndexChanging which wasn't handled."
Do I need to write special code to handle the paging? Because there is a grid in another page and it has bound columns and I didn't write any code for paging and it works perfectly fine.

Basically Gridview controls is used to display data in tabular format. but due to requirement I changed its layout to columner in following manner
Now come to the problem, i set the AllowPaging="True" and page size to 3 records/page but when click on paging links it displays the following error :

here's a situation and I would appreciate your response.
I have programmatically created the Wizard control:

Based on List I get from Session i added new steps to my wizard To each step I had added a custom control
Each custom control in tern contains another custom Gridview Control in it.
So here's the problem when the page loads for example for two steps. All is good Wizard does what it's supposed to do.
But when I try to use sorting or paging in that custom Gridview. Somehow it displays the gridview I should see in the next step of the wizard.
Also what I'm noticing through debugging. Is that when I press next in the wizard I go back to the original page where I do all of the code specified above, and it recreates the wizzard. But it goes to the next step. Is this the way wizard supposed to work? Just doesn't seem very efficient.
I want to create user control for gridview paging, so it may be reusable for every grid in my application, my user control should be like below, how its possible
eg: previous 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10 More If i clicks more link next 10 pages of records should be visible, how its process?
