is there is any methos so that only the some data rows displayed in detaisview.and rest of the data row item will appear by clicking more button or link.
View 1 RepliesI have a report, which has two sections namely Labour and Spares.In labour section no of records per page must be limited to 5 records and the Spares section have to limit to 10 records per page.If either Labour or Parts exceed the max limit the records must be shown in the next page. Limiting one section by using formulas can be done easily ...but it is very difficult control two sections simultaneously.

i have three cascading dropdownlists within the detailsview and want to set the third dropdownlist value and dependant dropdownlist values according to retrieved record.
at moment they cascade values independant of what record set is retrieved in detailsview and obtain there parameter from selected dropdownlist in pagebehind.

I have a web user control with DataList control in it. In my .aspx page, I have a report header, an empty panel as a place holder, a report footer.In my .aspx.vb file, I'll loop through a list of departments. Within each department, I'll load a label to display the department name and the user control for the data, and add both the label and user control to the panel. So there are two variables:
the number of departments and the number of records in a user control.
Now I need to display the current page number and the total page number in the report footer. Is it doable? How? I'm thinking of this approach: declare a page variable count, count the number of department name labels and the number of records in a user control. When the total count reaches a number, such as 20, I'll break the page. This way, I can get the the page current number and the total number of pages. But how to add a page break to an asp.net page?
I am trying to arrange the information from a SQL record into a 3 column by 3 row table to fit the form presentation that I want. I have placed on the page 3X3 table and then tried to place a detailsview in the first cell for the first picture called P1dv.
I have place a detailsview in the last cell that would control the paging of information called Controldv. I need to fiqure out how to link P1dv paging to Controldv page action. I am using visual web dev. 2005. I am not updating or editing these are read only views.

The Private Working Set memory(Task Manager) for the application is always below 125mb but the number of page faults have increased a lot and application cache is getting cleared frequently after setting the limit.
I haven't set any limit on Virtual Memory.why the cache is getting cleared even when the Private memory used is below the allocated memory?
