For the following link I kept 1 drop down box named as certification(yes/no),once selected item is 'yes' mean remaining two textboxes enabled otherwise disabled, it can be achieved through javascript.
but, the problem is once row adding dynamically the enabled two textboxes are getting disabled automatically in the previous row, how can i resolve this

The way it works is it read records from a database and from these it creates dynamic questions and either textbox or dropdown controls on one of about 5 tabs. The questions can change depending on the previous answers, thats why they need tgo be dynamic. The issue is the postback will loose the controls I have created. I thought about maybe just keeping a hashtable of the controls in the session and then recreating them each page create. The trouble is the page flicker. what the best way to handle this ??? I've though about update panel manipulation but nothing seems to work the way I need it to.

and of course, my div in html like

and that works fine when the user selects either option of the radiobuttonlist. However, when I assign that radiobuttonlist a value of 1 or yes on my Page_Load on code behind, that isn't (and probably can't be) caught by jQuery, and my div remains invisible even though the control has a value of Yes/1. So, do I need to set the visibility of that div from code behind, or is there a way in jQuery to force a scan of these dependencies after i've set the values for the main controls in code behind?
I add linkbutton controls dynamically to a panel, this works fine, but I also add eventhandlers to them like this.. AddHandler mLink.Click, AddressOf mLink_OnClick But when I click the linkbutton links, the event never happend. I have one updatepanel wrapped around some panels. What could be wrong?

I have a dropdown on page, a place holder and a save button on my form.Now, I am creating a textbox on selectedIndexChanged event of dropdown list and adding it to placeholder. And on button click I want to access the control, but on click event, I find the textbox as null. Here is my code

In my application I am sorting the gridview and also have Edit in that gridview, sorting works fine but when i click Edit, it puts the gridview in the original sorted order. when i click Edit - it lets me edit the row but it changes the order and show me the original record on that row in the edit mode.

View 3 RepliesI need to remove certian rows from the Gridview so that certian users can't see certian rows. I have a row databoud event that checks for certian fields in the row and disables the entire row based on the value of those fields. However, it dosen't work well because if my gridview has 20 or 30 rows I have paging so if it disables all but 2 rows the user has to click in the pages of the entire gridview until they reach that row.

I have searched around but unable to find a solution that will work. I have a link button that is created dynamically during the page load. It is given an ID (obviously). There is a script manager on the page. I have the controls added to a panel in the updatepanel (updatePanel1). There is a dynamic label that is also created with each link button. I can get a response from the linkbutton click event during a postback on the second time clicking the linkbutton, but I am getting a complete postback instead of the asyncpostback for that control. During the creation of the dynamic linkbuttons, I am also creating a dynamic trigger for each button and adding it to the updatePanel1. The Click event is not firing the method without doing a complete page postback.

I have a gridview and having trouble with display when the webpage is saved as pdf. I can see just the first page of gridview. If I dont do pagination and save the file, the gridview just breaks up and half is displayed on firstpage and half on next page. is there a way that if the gidview cannot fit on one page, I can break it and display rest of it on nextpage?
