Find if the current time falls within hourly ranges and display the start hour and end hour of that range in labels.
Examples:
If the current time is 8:46am, label startTime would return "8am" and label endTime would return "9am"
If the current time is 10:01pm, label startTime returns "10pm" and label endTime returns "11pm"
If the current time is 12:59am, label startTime returns "12am" and label endTime returns "1am"

Apr 21, 2010I'm creating dynamic controls based on a tree structure I built from a database.
Basically each part number in my tree, I want to be able to type in a serial number for, so the form will look something like this:
Part 1 [textbox] [save button]
Subpart of Part 1 [textbox] [save button]
Subpart of Part 1 [textbox] [save button]
Part 2 [textbox] [save button]
and so on. I have the generating of the controls correct right now. However, all of the controls just come out in one line like the following:
Part 1 [textbox] [save button] Subpart of Part 1 [textbox] [save button] Subpart of Part 1 [textbox] [save button] etc..
How do I go about putting a break in between each "row" I'm making so I can obtain the tree format I am looking for?

ListView Controls Display Wrong Data The 3rd Time?
Aug 11, 2010I have a ListView that populates and displays a user's data (via a profile system in VWD 2008) during Page_Load and also when I go from the EditItemTemplate to the ItemTemplate.
When I go to the edit screen again, my DropDownList and RadioButtonList controls display the first items in the corresponding tables instead of the correct profile values.
I don't understand why the controls populate correctly the first and second times but not on the third time (that's right, the third time is NOT a charm).

Jun 19, 2010I am trying to get my repeater to display information 10 records at a time for a single page with the user having the option to press next to view the next 10 pages or previous to review the previous 10 records with the option to skip pages by clicking the navigation links 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 is this possible?
Does it have to be alot of code as I have done it sort of already with an array and 5 repeaters? do arrays such as string[] a work when being hosted?

Feb 8, 2010I am using a repeater control, and in that one of the item, displays a time value that it retrieves from a database, the issue now is, that i want the data to get processed eg, todays date [ minus ] the date that was retrieved from the database. How can i go about this?
I am expecting to use the vb code behind to process the data, and then display it in the repeater control pragmatically for each corresponding record that is displayed.

I prefer creating new Column in SQL, but I can't come up with getting value from "last row" in SQL statement.

Controls may be vary time to time according to suitation and aspx page changes all time according to suitaion.

Jan 20, 2010I have a table with a button in it. The table is wholly built in the code behind. When I click the button, I want to rebuild the table with a new parameter. This all works great. I have a buildTable function that returns the table. It is called during the repeater itemdatabound and called again at the onclick event. The problem is, when the table is built from the onclick event the buttons do not work. In fact, the onclick event is never called.
