I have a dynamic treeview that is filled from a SQL Server database.
I have an asp label on the same page as the treeview.
I would like to change the corresponding text of the label when I hover over each corresponding node of the treeview.
How can this be implemented?
I would like to change the text color of child node of Treeview.

View 3 RepliesI have Template fields configured for Gridview. The gridview is using an objectdatabsource to bind itself. I have the gridview configured to use Templatefields which then contain tables to display the information. This works fine.
My question is, is it possible to change the text of the label if certain criteria is reached. If "NumberOfDwellings" is 1 then change the label to read, "1 Dwelling". Where-as if NumberOfDwellings has more than one then it's "3 Dwellings".

I have try the following method, but none of them can make the treeview to wrap the
node text. When the node text is exeeding a certain amnout of characters. It will just expand the

On a treeview, you can collapse/expand the nodes by clicking the +/- icon.
I would like to know how I can also click the node text to achieve the same results.
I want to be able to click the node text to expand/collapse the node.

View 7 RepliesI've built a TreeView in ASP.NET 3.5 and it works great, except the expand and collapse images (which are 20px by 20px) do not align properly with the text in the nodes. Below is a screen shot of the applicable tree, with all items selected to allow you to see where the items are lined up. I need the text to be vertically centered (by one means or another) so it lines up with the center of its expand/collapse image.
I've tried numerous tricks to make this happen, including CSS, but can't seem to find the right technique.

While populating the tree-view I have a requirement to bind the one particular level with a different colour. So, I am binding it as below

Now when the tree view loads, the required level 4 nodes are populated in DarkOrange. But, when any node is selected the backcolour changes as #6f9dd9 as per the style specified in the markup. But the fore-colour does not change.

I have a treeview which will be generated dynamically which need to be displayed on left side and when user clicks on a node it need to open a page on the right side of the same page. and each node has different aspx page. so whenever user selects a node the page details should be displayed on the right side .we can use an iframe on the page which will display the different pages clicked on the node.Is there any alternative i can use to display different pages based on the user selection on the right side without using iframe.

I have a button(by default disable) to create new folder, when I select the treeview node. Button will be enable on treeview node selection. On click of button.pop up window will open with textbox. I will insert folder name in textbox and submit it. Now New folder should create under selected node of treeview.

I click on button which I execute code that I expect to update the text but it doesn't work. Something like Textbox1.text = "Hello" Are there page level properties/settings I should look at? I am perplexed an looking for a place to start. I will provide more information as needed. I just don't know where to start.
