Forms Data Controls :: Disable A Link Button In Grid View After It Is Clicked?

I have a grid view with each row as a link button. When I click on the row, some data parsing process takes place (about a 15 sec process). The grid refreshes itself at a regular interval. I want to disable the link when it is clicked once, so that the user gets to know that row has been processed already and does not click it again, until the grid refreshes itself and the row disappears. I am copying my gridview code below. how to disable the link button on that row as soon as it is clicked.
I have a grid view .that display fields from database .I have dropdown list which have two items like pending and solved .when i select field from dropdownlist then according fields display data from database its working now bt problem i wanna to add linkbutton on gridview .i try to do it but it genrate error like "call back are not supported becoz template field does not allow call back update properly"
I am doing a online web application whereby user is able to enter in new template as well as search for template. The Add template is located outside the grid view and if user clicks on the button, it will load the grid view that is populated with data as there is a row of empty fields at the bottom. However when I click on the Add Template button, the grid view does not appear.

I have a link button thats text value is populated from a dataset value retrieved from a database. When the user clicks on this link button I want to somehow capture the text value. The trick is the linkbutton is within a usercontrol, and I want to do the processing from the user controls parent.

I have a gridview. The fields are displayed in table in itemtemplate. Each row has a unique id called UserId.There is a linkbutton for Editing in each row.

This details view is part of a Master/Details. It appears in it's modal pop up like it should when a record is selected in the grid view. But then when the edit button is clicked in the details view the details view and modal pop up disappear. Everything else works correctly. I've used this same pattern successfully for other pages with out this issue.I don't understand why this is happening. There is no event handler that is tied to this. I don't have any code that would cause this.The edit button is just using the edit command that's set declaratively in the mark up. It doesn't have any code in the code behind that would override this.code for the details view:
I am trying to add a modal pop up extender to a gridview's link button. this modal pop up will again display another grid view with edit,delete and save buttons.
so now My question is How can I display the modal pop up extender with another gridview? What will be its

I have a grid with an link button template field i also added a drop down list template field, i would like to hide the link button text (select) and display my drop down list for only the current row, when the link button is selected and capture the selected row (int row = gvstaging.SelectedRow.RowIndex;)
When the dropdown list SelectedIndexChange event fires i would like to access the value of the selected item(
DropDownList ddl = (DropDownList) sender;string s = ddl.SelectedValue;) and pass the selectedrowIndex and value to another function
I know how to get selected row index , selected value from the ddl but dont know how to hide one and display the other only for a row and pass both values to the next step
I have Link Button to Export to excel in Master page. Since I have placed it in master page I can see Export link button in every page. I need to disable link button where gridview is not present in a page.
IÂ thing using Enabled property we can do. How to proceed. Is there any other way to do it.

I have added a template field in a gridview. In that i have added a radio button. I have written a code which will get row Id of GridView of a row which is having a radiobutton on it checked. Through code i am getting even name of that radio button, but it is showing me that radio button is not checked, even when it is already checked. Here is the code. need that when the edit is clicked the update/cancel appear. user types the update and when press the ENTER key the update is made.How to set the update link button as default.

I click a row in grid view to Edit,it goes another page where i can edit all fields .Once i update i redirect the page to gridview. It happened to add an extra Gridveiw Header in row_databound event , It did worked fine on !Postback but disappered on Page.Postback . Quick google search guided me to move the event to Row_Created event and every thing is okay .
Can any expert post some pointers , differnces between grid row_created vs row_databount with some sample table data created dynamically behaviour of both the events in !Postback and page.Postback .

have extended a gridview to have all basic common functionalities like export to excel.So an image button will automatically rendered for exporting the gridview. I have added the link button in my extended gridview.when i click the button it gets postback. but the event does not get fired. I created the link button during overrided grid init method.and rendered during overided render method.I got stuck in this for a whole day..
