in my page am having one dropdownlist,Textbox and Search Button.Dropdownlist consists of Problem id,Phone No,Email,CardNo. when i select any of the above and enters a related string in textbox and click on search button a gridview will appear with related details. Everything is fine. but my challange is to display this gridview in next page.. how itz possible. i think request.Querystring helps me.but i dnt know how to write dis.Here am Pasting my code. Aspx.cs

in my asp.net+access web code in vb. There is three labels named (tata.text,tvs.text,msu.text) is there any option on clicking on the label named tata.text the data pertaining to tata be displayed in a gridview in another page or a popup display in same page.

We do have a search page for customers which returns a list of data from a table.
Once we select on an item it should redirect to another page with customerId as a querystring parameter..
Now the problem is we have to save all the customerIds and need to send them to display page..and need to select next one once they done with previous one without going to the search page again..
Example:
if they got 10 customers in the search page then we need to send all 10 ids to display page by starting display of firstone and once they select next button on display page they have to move on to the next cutomer from that list..if they reached the end of list they have to start again from the first...we need to avoid the user going to the search page for each customer every time...

My database has 4 colums;
TraditionalID-------------TraditionalName------------Singles-----------Suppers
Singles and suppers are money fields for the price of same item. A bit like the price of a Small, Medium or Large item. What I would like to do is display the 'Singles' price and 'Suppers' price in seperate listitems so the user can choose 1 of them.
GridView:
Traditional Name__________Size
Chicken-------------------[DROPDOWNLIST]
DropDownList:
Price of Single is: £1.50
Price of Supper is: £2.50
My page loads up with the correct items in TraditionalName colum but the DropDownList is completely empty. I'm aware I don't have anything in for DataValueField and DataTextField but I have tried putting things in these attributes, like Suppers and Singles, but nothing works, so I have taken them out below.

I am working on displaying records in grid view. I have a dropdownlist on top of the grid and has items as 5 results per page, 10 results per page and 25 results per page. I would like to display only that many set of records per page as chosen from dropdownlist . I have tried this but don't see any change when i chose different options ..

I have a gridview.In Header of gridview i added dropdownlist.

Here the problem is, i am getting selected value in temp variable(if i change to 20,50,100) in dropdown selection event but it is not binding the pagesize for the gridview and also dropdownlist showing the value "10" only after the pageload.

i am having two logins,one login for employee and another login for hr,hr wants to create the payslip for every month,if the HR created the payslip for the particular employee,once created the payslip,the employee can login in his account ,if payslip is created it will be displayed in the gridview,in that gridview i provide a print option,,,and pass the employee id using the eval..my problem is,,if the particulare employee having the payslips details in the gridview,it will be order by month wise,if the user wants to take the print,if the employee want to take the print for the month of february,,when the employee clicks the print option by mistake january month record is printed,,i need to print februry as per the employee selection,,,this is my code,form1.aspxin gridview all the months of salary details will be displayed,

We're trying to implement functionality that intercepts, inspects, and alters if needed data in the Request.QueryString and Request.Form collections.
Since Request.QueryString and Request.Form are readonly, is it possible to use a HttpModule to do this without Reflection or Response.Redirect?
We're thinking that we can construct a new HttpRequest, and replace the original one. Would there be any implications in doing this?
I know mocking this object is impossible without using HttpRequestWrapper, but wasn't sure whether ASP.NET sets other things beyond the constructor.

I'm new to development and have a question about launching a new page in ASP.NET using VB.NET.
I currently have a page that displays a dropdown list populated from a database.
Once the user makes a selection, a gridview is created on the same page based on that selection.
I would like the gridview to be displayed on a new page and was wondering what the best way to achieve this would be.

I have Gridview populated with few rows , sometimes in few pages set suppose 12 rows in 3 pages as page size is set to 5 per page. I want the footer to display something like this
