Forms Data Controls :: How To Bind TemplateField DropDownList With ArrayList

I'm trying gridview templateField DropDownList bind with arraylist. When i set bindsource i got this error. "//Error Object reference not set to an instance of an object."
I have an ArrayList of strings called 'vins'. I have set DataGrid1's data source set to 'vins'. When I check off create columns automatically at runtime the DataGrid is populated with the correct values from the arraylist, however I'm not sure how to reference them. I'm trying to make it so that a user can click on a link after any VIN number and have that referenced and deleted from the arraylist. bind this ArrayList to the DataGrid and then be able to reference them.
I want bind GridView from database using ArrayList. But my code not worked.I shared code below:

I have a gridview with a DropDownList (contained in a TemplateField). I have set the OnSelectedIndexChanged event to a function called "ddlAgent_SelectedIndexChanged" This allows me to aquire when a user has changed the value for the dropdownlist. What I need to do is persist this newly selected value to the database for the gridview record. The problem I'm having is how to I get the datakeyNames value for that row? See code below!

I am trying to bind the datasource of a ddl which is located inside the EditTemplate of a TemplateField.When is the best time to bind this datasource (after loading grid, before editing, ? (Note: I must do this in code behind).I am currently trying to bind it on the edit command:

The issue is that the list retrieved from the LoadLists method is null when passing to the LoadList method where the datasource is bound.
I need to create a TemplateField column dynamically , which will contain dropdowlist controls. I've been using this example to create my first dynamic columns and for the last column, the one that contains dropdowlist controls, I've written this class:

But what I don't know is, where should I populate the dropdownlist control?
I have a dropdownlist in datalist. I use arraylist to bind the datalist. In arraylist it is "DataNew" Class which has the property of DataTable "dt_city". Now I bind the DataTable to dropdownlist

But I got the error of: Server Error in '/AFIRS' Application. DataBinding: 'System.Data.DataTable' does not contain a property with the name 'city'.

I have a dropdownlist that's being populated from a SQL datasource. I would also like to have a tooltip for each dropdownlist list item on mouse over. I found the example below which adds a title attribute for each list item using the listitem text as a tooltip but I want to make the title/tooltip value another field in the database. In other words,
I have list of addresses and would like to bind ZIP Id to DropDownList.
when I use SelectedValue property it throw the error: 'DropDownList1' has a SelectedValue which is invalid because it does not exist in the list of items. Parameter name: value.

I want to display 2 things inside the Repeater Control.
1. User Selected Values (which comes in the form of an Arraylist) from a previous page using "PostBackUrl" method.
2. Then allow users to select values from a Dropdown list corresponding to each design code they selected on previous page. (the dropdown values here must come from a backend db)
Also, I want to control the number or rows displayed inside the repeater control. It should be equal to the number of "design codes" selected by the user on a previous page.
Using Visual Web Developer Express 2010 with ASP.NET 4.0.
I have a FormView and I want to set a default value from the database. I can't get it to bind to the value in the database. My FormView looks like this:

The EditItemTemplate does not even load when I click the edit button on my FormView control, but I don't get an error message either.
I'm modifying an existing application. I need to be able to bind the Text property of an asp:DropDownList control to one of two fields when the page is rendered. The existing code is like this:

I've tried to use conditional logic on the .aspx page when setting the Text property, but everything I've tried results in an error. I've also tried using code-behind to set the Tetxt property in the Page_Load event. This doesn't generate an error, but it doesn't set the property either.
