Forms Data Controls :: Loop To Create Controls Dynamically From Database?

I would like to find out if there is anyone who would know how to read from a database then returns the same number of records that a stored procedure returns and display those records on the webpage there after pass the ID of the record to a variable to another stored procedure that displays the data related to the record that was clicked, I tried doing this in a asp.net repeater but I can't seem to be able to reference the controls inside the repeater.

OK I'm a total noob so bear waith me. I'm using the pubs database. I want to add several gridviews to my page in the inside of a for loop. Here is my code so far:

In the foreach loop, it is iterating through the publisher's tables rows, and I wamt it to query the titles table to find all books that have that publisher id and create a gridview out of it. In the code above I am not getting it right. I need multiple GridViews, one for each iteration of the foreach loop. How do I do this?
I have a dropdownlist whose values are int (actually they are string basically but they can be parsed. they are 1, 2, 3, 4, 5.. etc)
I want to create textboxes acording to the number of dropdownlist selected value. Lets say drop down shows 3 and I wanna create 3 textboxes. how can I do that.
I am currently working on a project where I am trying pull a list of entries from an Oracle database depending on a selection that is made by the user via a Drop Down list. Then I want provide a user with a list of options that they can select that is related to the drop down option that they have selected. For Example:
First Drop Down from database: Honda, BMW, Ford
If user selects:
Honda -- options that are available in the separte table in the database for this entry are -- Type, Engine Size, Colour
BMW -- options that are available in the separte table in the database for this entry are -- Colour, Wheel Trims, Extra's
Ford -- options that are available in the separte table in the database for this entry are -- Extra's
What I wanted to do is have a form displayed to the user where thy can say select a car eg. "BMW" and then on the change of that drop downs index the site will do a call back and retrieve the entries for the BMW options in the seperate tabel, these being Colour, Wheel Trims, Extra's. Then it will put these details in a DataSet and then i wanted to create a new text box or input field for the users to enter details in. I have tried the below code with no success as I get an error on my for loop of looking through the options DataSet.
I want to insert data in sql server from sheet within excelsheet ,there are three sheets in the file which i want to upload in three different tables,currently i am doing by selecting an individual sheet and the table to upload thus doing it three times for three sheets can i do it in one go,like passing all the sheets to a function or something like that or how can i do it in a better way and also i cannot directly upload sheet into table as i have to map one column of excel to different table of database to get its value like i need statecode but statename is provided in the sheet so i map statecode to statename in a staging table and then i upload the data...
I have nested gridviews, in the outer grid I am displaying the question and in the inner grid 4 options are displayed in radiobuttons. I have kept Lock Answer button inside Item Template in inner gridview , so this button is coming with each and every question and when i click on Lock Answer button in front of any question, its saving the corresponding answer in the database. For ex, if there are 10 questions this button is coming with all the questions, all the questions are on single page and all are multiple choice. Now everything is working mine, my requirement is that I need on 1 common Lock Answer button at the bottom of the page and not with all the questions. And when I click on that common button it should run for all the questions that are displayed on the screen at should fetch and update each unique answer corresponding to that question in the database. Due to the size of content, I would like to dynamically create tab pages on a page dependant on user action. Also, I would like to have the ability to allow the user to close/dispose of the tab pages. Is there anyFREE user control that can do this?

I am using Repeater control. In DataBound event I am preparing output of item and everything works ok. But now I need to add a command button to item. I cannot add button to item template in designer (some project specifications do not allow it). I create new button at DataBound, set unique ID, command name and argument and bind it to command event and, thenm place it to Item controls container. It is not working as command button.

Problem I facing is that the data table is getting created fine with teh linkbutton as well but the gridview is not showing the linkbutton. upon executing I am only the column which is of string type.
i am trying to create a paging facility for my dalatist dynamically and for this i am taking a hyperlink and putting it in a panel and showing the list of pages
but the problem is that when i click on next page for example from 1st page to another then it refreshes the page and opens the page with IsPostback = False and thus my all values that i have stored in a session becomes null like fisrt time loading
so it there any way so that when i click on the link it just show me the next bunch of record without refreshing the page ??
Note: i have created paging in my Stored procedure where each page contains 10 record per page

I have a dropdownlist("ddlTemplate") control and a gridview("gvPlanning") control with 1 BoundField column, 1 TemplateField column and remaining columns will be generated dynamically from database.In TemplateFiled Column i have 3 image buttons viz: Edit, update and cancel.Gridview will be populated based on the selecteditem of dropdownlist.
if i click on edit imagebutton, i need to add textboxes dynamically in all the columns of that row except first 2 column. And if i click on Update imagebutton i need to retrieve the textbox values.we can add template field column for textboxes also, but why i am sticking to this method is.. the number of columns changes depending on the selecteditem from the dropdownlist. Eg: If i select india from dropdownlist the number of columns in the gridview would be 4 and if i select UK from dropdownlist the number of columns would be 9 likewise.
