On my web page i have a repeater control with checkboxes.When i select some repeater rows through checkboxes then they will delete from database as well disappers on my web form.But after selecting the respective checkboxes i have to click on a button for this purpose.

it looks like its setup right, the page source has the correct message for each button for the javascript:return invoked with onclick, all that was setup in the onItemDataBound routine and the delete code behind is getting invoked, i just have a message there for now for testing, so it all seems to be there, but no confirm dialog box?

How do I apply this to a DetailsView? I know it diesn't use RowDataBound, instead it uses DataBound. But what about the e.Row and RowDataBound...etc? Basically, how would this look if I wanted to apply this to a DetailView?

I need to display a javascript confirm box after the user successfully logs into the application. If the select 'yes' of the confirm box then I need to navigate them to a different page and if they select 'no' the default.aspx page should be displayed. I am using the login control.
I tried to use ClientScript. RegisterClientScriptBlock on Login1_Authenticate event, it didn't work. I tried the same thing on the Page_Load event of Default.aspx as well as Master Page load event, that also didnt work.

Currently on the gridview i display a list medicine stock and if the medicine quantity less then certain quantity, it will be highlighted on the row. After that, i want to display a message said that the medicine need to be restock ? I have try using string builder however message does not come out.

I am able to show an alert when the list view is edited in parent window like this...

but not able to show an alert when this listview is edited in Pop-up window.it shows "Object reference not set to an instance of an object." Error .any idea how to show an alert here!!

problem is when I enter new mobile number it inserted data into database but it showed this message'You can just register 1 Time' but here it should show 'You have been registered' I mean in both condition it show this message 'You can just register 1 Time'
it never show this message='You have been registered'
what should i do?

How to show the alert message when matching the data is not accurate in SQL with C#?
Based on below SQL script show that if recordcount is true then update the QTY - @QTY else insert the data.
How to write the statement is the input @QTY is more that existing QTY, then pop up alert message show that "QTY is not available, there is more than existing QTY" else if the input @qty is 0, then show alert message "NOt able to key in 0 QTY".
Then redirect Or return to main form(NOt able to do transaction).

How can I pop up a message box to confirm a delete, from inside a method?
Normally i would just use the following line in my button:
OnClientClick="return confirm('Are you sure you want to delete this comment?');"
However this delete method can also be called by a querystring, so I need the confirm message box functionality in the method?

I have a datagrid with checkboxes. User selects some rows and click on a button on the same page.
Code on button_click verify the data for selected rows, It it finds some certain status (Valid), I want a confirmation message to show "You have a or more valid record(s), Do you really want to set inactive?"
Now i user clicks ok, next code should execute else not.
I know attribute.add can not be used because it decides the condition on same button click.

On a page of my project, i have a gridview, i need to perform following operations with it:
1. On Page_Load i want to bind all the data (100 Rows) with the gridview.
2. On my Page i want to show only 4 records with Show More/Show Less Links.
3. When user clicks on the link, i want to show All data or 4 Rows accoeding to the link.
4. I don't want any roundTrip to the server, so plz don't suggest AJAX, i want to attain this by using Javascript.

I have a webpage that lists information about trucks and their map sections and whether the combination is active and will be used.
On the page I put a check box that says Show Only Active and marked the checked property as true by default. When the RowDataBound event fires I check to see if that checkbox is marked as true and if it is I check if the individual map sections are marked as active. If they are not active then I set the row visibility equal to false like below.
