I have a tab container with two tab panels. In the first panel, I have a ropdownlist inside a detailsView. The user should not go to the second tab panel with out selecting something in the dropdownlist other than the default N/A.

I have used this on another form with a delete command in a gridview column and it work perfectly.
Why isn't it working with my select command ?

Some how is my above syntax btnProgressIndicator.click() is not called when the user clicks on the LinkButton.
I want to bind data to content template of the accordion pane on the header click event of the pane. I can bind data to content template now but it is making unnecessary db calls when it tried to load intially since the data for the content template comes from different source. In order to avoid that i want o bind data to Content template only when the user is interested to look at the data. let me know how can i achieve this. Server tags don't work here. I spend a 1-2 hours to find some way to make this work, but i didn't find anything.

The serverside click event should fire if the onclientclick javascript function return true. The "ValidateData()" function is called to validate the entries in the form. This code is working fine in IE. But in Firefox, both events are not firig. If I remove the line "TopPanelButton.OnClientClick =..." then onClick event is firing.

Works great, right? Well I wrote a small javascript file to make the checkboxes mutually exclusive, but now, while the post back refreshes and the javascript works, it does not show the popup extender anymore - it doesn't even enter the codebehind function.

i have a column in a gridview with an imagebutton in a column. i added an onclientclick event so that a html confirm dialog shows with ok and cancel button, so that if you click cancel, the event should not continue, but if you click ok, the gridviews onrowcommand should fire. The grid is as follows:

I want to be able to pass one of the fields to it, such as a name, to enhance the confirmation. I want it to be more informative by adding the product or customer name. I have an Asp.net GridView (populate with a data binding).One of my columns is a ButtonField (obviously with his own CommandName).The *GridView_RowCommand* works perfectly, but if i add a *GridView_RowDataBound* (in which I simply add a javascript confirm) the *GridView_RowCommand* event is not fired in the PostBack.

I decided to change what JS functions Im calling now since calling Multiple functions definately wasnt helping. Here's my updated code. All Im doing now is validating a single textbox and returning true or false. Even this simple function is causing the postback URL to never get called. Could it have anything to do with the fact that Im trying to call a function to return a true or false?
Who knows how to add onClick event to accordion pane in Ajax asp accordion ? Is it the same as adding it as attribute in server side or there is another way in client side?

I have a page for a product listing using a datalist control. I have customized the item template and added a link button that says Click to Order. I then databound that linkbutton with the onclientclick to the "ProductID" field, but I would like to set a variable or use some method of getting the productID of which item they clicked so I can add that product to an order.
