1) persist checkbox rows in paging in vb.net not c#
2) add the checked rows to datatable datasource and show on next page in paging
i need to show 3 gridviews in a tab container (ajax).. which should refresh at same time.. what is the optimal way to get data from database for that can some one show a solution for this .

I am using 2 Form First Page is used to Get data from user a dropdownlist and a GridView with CheckBox. Second Page is used to Display the Data entered in the dropdownlist and gridview. values are displayed in a gridview. Each value has a Edit and Deleted command. if edit Button is Selected.. i must redirect to page 1 along with the details which i Selected must bedisplayed in the dropdownlist and the CheckBox selected Value should be checked.

I got a list of customers That I'm gone show in the gridview. I have added a checkbox infront of every customer so i can select what customers gone be used and passed to the next method. With a little bit of strugle I almost got everything working now except for this thing with keeping the values of checked customers when I page to the next page (2,3,4,5 ect).
View 1 RepliesI have a web app where everytime I upload an Excel file, its contents appears in Gridview, which is binded with a DataTable. Using the properties, I have set paging and sorting to true.
When I input a file using fileupload and a submit button, the web app has page numbers at the bottom appear.
It also correctly sorts it, (my page size is set to 10), however, when i click on the next page (pg 2, for instance), nothing shows up until i upload the file and hit submit again.

I have created a gridview and added a headertemplate field inside templatefield. Inside header template field I have added a button and a condirmbutton extender. confirmbutton extender uses modelpopup with ok cancel. This works fine but with one problem. I want this popup to open on button click only if user has checked atleast one checkbox from gridview. So far it shows this modelpopup everytime even user hasn't checked anything.

View 1 RepliesI have created an out-of-the-box (default everything) ASP.NET Dynamic Data Entities Web Site using VS2010, C# and the .NET Framework 4. Created an ADO.NET Entity Data Model based off a MS SQL 2008 R2 database and registered that EF data model for my dynamic data. Everything works great except for the one change I would like to make. By default, the GridViewPager.ascx file provides the values 5, 10, 15 and 20 in the dropdown for GridView's "Results per page" option. I would like to change that to 10, 20, 30 and 40 - with 40 being the default selected option.
I went to the code behind file and modified it to have the values I am wanting. Those values now show in the dropdown, and work if I select them. Problem: when the page is first rendered only 10 rows will show. How can I change this?
