When I select a value in Combo box automatically that value is also getting selected in List Box and same thing when I select a value in List Box that value is also getting selected in Combo Box.
Selection should be only for that particular control, how can I achieve this ?

Then once a user selects one of the enteries, he/she then enters a value for that selection in a textbox, then clicks enter or add....now upon doing this, I want to have a GridView that tabulates all the entries the user adds, and keep a total of all entries as the bottomline in the GridView. I can't seem to wrap my head around how to get it done.Does anyone know how I can get this done, or are there examples out there that my searches have missed cause I haven't really seen any examples I could look at. I would think this should be a common solution that is used all over

Oct 10, 2010I have a master table that will hold the information for publications for my company. Not all of the publications can veiwed by all users. What I am trying to figure out is how can I load all of the publications that the user is allowed to see into one grid view table. For example: If Mary logs in she will only be able to see Accounts publications; if Sally logs in she can see General and Legal publications and if John logs in he can see IT, Legal and General publications.
I figured out how to do it with separate gridview tables on a page based on the roles. I would make a gridview viewable if the user was in that role. But I would really like to put all of this in one gridview if that is possible.

What I am currently doing is that I am using ListBoxItem, set Item Height and ItemSource at ListBoxItem Level, Add ListBoxitem to ListBox and then Add ListBox to Grid, It leaves me with just one row and multiple columns in the Grid, which is perhaps not the best way of doing it as it doesn't allow me to take benefits from UI Virtualization of Grid.

I am open to use any control i.e. Grid/ DataGrid provided it allows me to set Cell Height and item source at Cell level. In my requirement, Cell height depends on the Item duration and size of image, which means the height of the cells may not be same across cells in any particular row.

It does not give me any errors and seems to work but the grid view cell do not take this session. When I'm clicking on the edit hyperlink this event is triggered.
