GridView1,GridView2,GridView3.Each gridview contains two templatefield and a boundfield.The first templatefield is a checkbox field and the second one is a labeltemplate with databinding to field "Usr_Id" and the third field is for Name.I have enabled paging for all the three girdview's and different data's are populated on form_load.how can i maintain the checkbox status while paging for all the three gridview's.ie, when i check checkboxes in two pages in gridview1 and checked three pages in gridview2 and so on,i should get the check state of all the gridview checkboxes maintained.I know to maintain the checkstate for a single gridview but when i am checking the pages in second gridview ,the checkbox values of some pages of gridview1 is lost

I want to include a footer total that looks like

Im not binding the database to the gridview via design view I'm binding it programatically in the default.aspx.cs file
So far the only tutorials I've encountered are ones the have the database bound through design view and gridviews with only one column that can be added. In my particular example I have multiple columns that need to be added and I have already bound the data to the gridview.

Jan 11, 2011Well the dropdownlist has an existing items. I just want the selected gridview record to be displayed in the dropdownlist. The dropdownlist has several DataTextField in string and consist of DataValueField in numeric. The gridview passes a string text to the box which has an equal or same item inside the dropdownlist. Whenever i passed a record from a gridview to be viewed in the dropdownlist it just duplicates the same item. Q: How can i simply pass a text inside the dropdown and just simply display it without adding on the list.

after selecting on the gridview and display inside the dropdown:

Apr 22, 2010I'm at an internship fixing this internal system in ASP.NET and C# using VS2008, and I have a gridview that displays purchases, rebate earned, and account number. When I load the page, only the first row of data shows up, and it's always the same values. I sent the output to a label, and my distributor ID and sales amount is the same for the 98 rows. We use MySQL for our database.

I feel like distID should also be in a foreach loop, but I don't how I would do it.

AJAX :: Shows Data In Multiple Panels
Apr 13, 2010I have web page with multiple update panels on it, each update panel has a detail view which is bound to different data sources, since the data loading takes time so i want that when data from any source is available the update panel shows it, while the other update panel shows a progress panel till data loading is done.
I have set all the update panel to 'Contional Mode' updating and a trigger is set to them against a buttons click event. on button click i load data from Db. hoever, when i click the button all update panel start the progree bar and they load data syncronously, but i want the above secario.

Oct 9, 2010 I create reports sometimes with a gridview and export the data to excel. Lets say I have like multiple gridviews and I wanted to export each gridview to excel under its own spreadsheet.
So gridview1, gridview2, gridview3 are exported to excel under $heet1, $heet2, $heet3.
I know how to export multiple gridviews to 1 excel sheet but I don't know how to export them separately under their own spreadsheet.
I've been researching online, and i'm continously searching, but does anyone know how to do what i'm trying to do with the gridview and excel or is this not possible?

Feb 23, 2011I'm populating a dropdown box bound to an sqldatasource. From the sqldatasource, I'm retrieving locationID,locationType and LocationName.
The locationName is displayed in the dropdown. The selected values is set to, "locationID'. Based on the 'LocationID' the user is directed to a new page.
However, I need to pass the "locationID" and also the "LocationTYpe" values for the selected Name, so the sure can be directed to a specific page..how do I get BOTH values, 'locationID' and 'LocationType' when the user selects 'Location NAme' from drop down.
