Using c# and SQL.
Populating a gridview and want to check whether the Taskdate which is in column 5 in the gridview contains "1/1/1900". If contains I need to make it blank. I use template fields.
Here is the code I used. But it does not work.

i am using date field in sql table , and in webforms , i am using a textbox relating to calendar extender toolkit , now if i won't select anydate from calendar , on debugging it shows "" but in database it shows 1900-01-01 . what's this going on ? i have also written on button click event :

I have a detailsview with an update button one of the update fields is a checkbox which when is checked I want to automatically update a date field of when the checkbox was checked, am I going the right way with this code....... as I am getting a number of errors

I need to check for two differect text to make the Edit button inactive. For example, I need to make the button inactive when the ActionTypeName field has value either Accepted date or Received date. I can do one check with Accepted date but not both.

I have a grid view with two columns...one column has a no. like (123) and a check box....which user can checked or unchecked......all I need to do is that I need to disable the man handling of that check box......rather I would like to see a seperate grid view with the same no. of rows as of the first and in this gridview I may allow to type in or scan the no. and if this scanned or typed number matches any no. in the first gridview number then the corresponding check box should be checked/unchecked.

I have a formview. Inside, there is a textbox where user can input a date(txtAccepDt). Then the user will choose one item from a radiobutton list which has values like 60 days, 90 days and 150 days. Is there a validation expression or any other way to check a birthdate entered to ensure the date entered makes the person "at least xx years of age" as of the current date? I want to initialize a date field in the FormView to today's date. So, in my page_load event I have:

The first time this page loads, the txtSetupDate field is initialized.
Although, and subsequent loads of the page doesn't initialize the Text Box. I step through the code in the debugger and I can see that the code is executig, but something (the FormView bind?) is "clearing" the Text Box.
I have a databound gridview that displays basic customer information. I have added a template field to the gridview, but I am having trouble with the coding for the RowDataBound event. I need to take the sum of all payments made by the customer in each row and store it in a variable for further calculation. Also, I need to take an integer value (say 30, representing 30 days) and add it to a date, and return a date.

tw text boxes lve.text (number filled) and lve from.text (date filled). when user enter a numder in lve.text and select a date fro date picker in lvefrom.text then lveto.text should show date selected in lvefrom.text + number of days in lveto.text (eg if number of days is 5 and date selected in lvefrom.text is 15 Jan 2013 then lveto.text should display 19 jan 2013. because the starting day is also counted in my case.
