Forms Data Controls :: How To Get The Total Of Textboxes Using Javascript

I have a form where i have three textboxes and a gridview with two template textboxes.Now i need to get the total of all the textboxes including the template textboxes in another textbox named Total.I know how to get the total of textboxes using javascript.But now what i need is to get the total of all textboxes including the template textboxes in the Total textbox and also the value of total textbox should change if i change the previously entered value of any textbox
ie,if T1,T2,T3 are the textboxes and GridTxt1,Gridtxt2 are the Template textboxes then
Total=T1+T2+T3+GridTxt1+GridTxt2 and also [code].....
I have a gridview with one Tempate field, i want sum the particular template to show result in fodder template textbox, following liks i tried... but not use,
i have one grid which have 5 columns 1 for subject,2,3,4 for marks which have textbox to insert obtained marks,and last column have one lable to display total of (2+3+4),now i want total value on textbox event,when user enter any value to any column of textbox i need to display total of all three columns in total column.
I have a repeater which is binded using a Collection of Entity Data Framework.
Once the repeater is binded using the datasource, the user can control the no of rows present in the repeater using a Dropdown list on the page. For ex: if datasource has 2 rows, user want to add 3 more rows, user selects 5 from dropdown, which adds 3 additional rows to the Repeater. I am able to do this.
The repeater has textbox controls in each row. Now once the user enter the values in this textbox of the newly generated rows, the user can save the values entered with the no of rows specified.
I have a button which is outside the repeater and on click of this i need to validate all the textbox values and save them into dB accordingly.

Right now the problem is im not able to fetch the values of the textboxes present in the newly generated rows.
I have a nested gridview like the code quoted below. How to retrieve the counter of each child gridview elements and display it as a field of the parent gridview ?

I am developing a web application,in that application i want to do a calculations like total salary, basic salary, pf, hra etc..... In that I provide a button for calculate. If I click that button the value will be calculated and displayed in the textbox.. but I don't want to do that I want to do like ... When I press the tab key it will be calculated and show in textbox. How this is possible?

The above code is getting row calaculated on key up. With the same code in need column total also. I need total of column quantity and total in their respective footer textbox.
I have created a GuestBook-like database and what I want to do is to have in a Formview the total number of posts that the authenticated user has submitted. I have added a formview and a slq control but it seems that the query I have built doesn't work. Do you have any clue? the query is like: SELECT COUNT (Trips_Id) AS VIAGGI FROM Trips WHERE UserId@UserId Do you think this query is correct or there is something missing here or something that I need to add in the code behind?
I am using Gridview to show open, closed and all support cases (changeable by radio button postback) and am trying to get the total sum of the TimeInMinutes column and display it in the footer. Is this possible and how can I accomplish this?

GVcm is the name of my gridview.I have a button that loads the gridview, but it does not show the total. I don't know if I have to call this method inside the ButtonClick Event, I'm still a noob with c# and asp.net.Other things that maybe you should know, I'm not using template fields, I don't know if that is the problem I'm using normal bounfields.

im having the hardest time finding information on this that makes any sense. i am using linq to get data from my SQL server 2005 database and bind it to a gridview. From the table i am pulling two fields...Reference(the item name) and Cost. In the gridview i have added two additional columns, Quantity and total. I need to allow the user to change the quantity field to the amount they need to order and update the total field for that row. Also i would like to show a grand total at the bottom of the gridview summing all the total fields. The totals need to be updated as soon as the the user clicks or tabs out of quantities field.
