I am combinning .aspx pages with some html pages.If user logged in (use asp.net membership function), I need hide a html user control which is locatd in .html page (such as html input control), how can do that?

And inside it, there is a button called "Delete".
In the behind code, I tried to access the button control in the listview. However, the code keep looping non-stop..
The logic is the Delete button will only be visible by the current logged-in user. And I had already set the button as visible = false. I had set breakpoint to the line : Delete.Visible = true;. Once the execution reach here, it loop back to the first line again..
And Delete button remain invisble despite the execute visible = true statement..

My EmptyData Template has a message to the visitor that states "Sorry no records found", so when it is displayed I would like for my CheckBoxes to be hidden. Here is the code behind that I've started with and of course it doesn't work.

In this code, I have a multi View below the Loginview. The page works fine when it loads, but when I click on a button that changies which view to display, The page looses the fact that it is logged in and renders the Anonymous Template. The system knows the person is still logged in so when I go to another page like Signin, it displays the loggedin Template.

I have the membership provider and the create user with tow steps, one of the steps contains a custom registration form, for each created user data will be in the database, and there is an account page shows the data that the new created user did insert during the registration process on the custom registration page,
the problem, when the user is created and logged into his account page, this account page shows only the information for the first created user, not the info on the logged in user , but the logged in user data still saved in database and not showing on his account page?

I have created a Web User Control (e.g, uc.ascx) which has a few HTML checkboxes in it (using Input Checkbox).
As uc.ascx is dynamically created in my webform page (e.g. page1.aspx), I discovered that the HTML checkboxes did not persist their "Checked" status. how I can make these HTML checkboxes persist?
I have this requirement of fetching facebook user information like friends count and other basic information and integrate to our website.
I currently use facebook graph to ask user to authorise, fetch information and store in my database.
When their say, friend count changes how do I update my database without asking user to trigger it manually.
Is there a special permission where i can fetch user data when he/she isnt logged in.
I have seen this somewhere but not sure of the permission.
Or does facebook have any feature of publishing information on subscription ?
I use the default membership provider, after the user is created he is directed to a specific page to put his information.
I have a specific page for the user after he LOGGED IN and i need his information to be show up on this page that he did put in during the step of creating new account and putting new information

I am trying to get the role of the user which just logged in the website. I am doing this:

but that returns 'System.String', not the real role :(.

I am finding it difficult to accept that the whole Repeater approach has any benefits over just creating a loop in code, iterating through a recordset, and building a html table into a variable, then dumping it to the page. This repeater is spawning pages of code and objects, and surely this is all using up server resources.
