I make one datalist and bind with database. I want add one button control. When I click this button, the datalist will automatically show the data selected from database. How can i do it.
View 8 Repliesi have a datalist . that is contains 7 columns in repeat layout .when i have more from 7 columns , datalist style is normal .but when i have smaller than 7 columns ! data list style is not normal,
because there are some empty columns without specific schema.
How i can make a datalist > when i have 1 columns in my datalist my first layout width be 100% ;
and dont show some empty layout ?
I want to make a single selection in radiobutton in a gridview. I have added "GroupName" in radiobutton attributes but it only works in column which suppose to have a single selection in the entrire gridview. Another problem is getting the value of the radio button. Selected radio button value must appear in a textbox once it was clicked/checked.

I 'm trying to figure out how to make an HTML/ASP page where a user puts in data, either in text fields or selection boxes, and on clicking a submit button all of there selected data gets dropped either into a Access 97 Db or an excel spread sheet. View 4 RepliesI have a dropdown list placed in Update Panel the issue is that when i am trying to make selection from the dropdownlist i am not able to select the items under it(i.e. after clicking on the dropdownlist the items get displayed but when i move the mouse over it the dropdownlist gets closed).
This issue is observed in Fire Fox only (works fine in IE and Google Chrome).
I have the following code, i add code for required validator, but when you make selection from dropdown to create the table, the page generates an error. Should the logic be somewhere else to add it to the table? i mean, dont they have to be there so when you submit the form, it fires the validation?

I have a page on my website that displays certain ASP charts based off the selection made in a menu control. I'm trying to implement functionality now which will allow me, in certain cases, to make hyperlinks in the columns of the chart control which will result in the current page reloading with specific data. So there are two ways to get certain charts to display: one through the menu, two through another chart's hyperlinked data point.
I would like to handle the hyperlink situation without the use of query strings (if that's possible) becuase functionality already exists for a menu selection plus I'd rather not have to handle user input necessary with any query string. Is there a way to programmatically set the ValuePath property of a menu control which I could (hopefully) do in a Chart_Click event?

There is two checkbox group which have same datasource, so in both case same checkbox are showing and also same event is firing for both. Here is the event code
