How To Call .cs File From A .aspx.cs

I have a a1.aspx.cs file and i have created new class1.cs file. I want to call a function in a1.aspx.cs which is in class1.cs
When i write a method in a1.aspx.cs everything works fine, but when i try to copy paste the contents which are there in button click event into class1.cs file and call that function i am unable to get all the controls that i have used in my web page,what parameters am i supposed to pass??
and error comes as
Error 1 The name 'DropDownList1' does not exist in the current context
and many more such errors. how to call a function in a1.aspx.cs

It always return javascript undefined error. But if I put the AJAX_Test webmethod in aspx page and replace the url: "CustomValidate.asmx/AJAX_Test" to "mypage.aspx/AJAX_Test". It works fine.

How can I call a public property declared on a ASPX page from a different ASPX Page? Is that possible? It is a website project. How can I get/call this property from a different aspx page? I have a Visual Studio solution, containing .cs and .vb projects, as well as .aspx files. As usual, the .aspx files implement an ASP.NET site and make calls to the .cs and .vb projects.
Is it possible to do the reverse... i.e. make a call from a .cs or .vb file to a method in a .aspx file? (Assume for the purpose of this question that there is a good reason for doing this)

When I update a js file in my asp.net project, I refresh the browser and the change shows up as expected. If I change a css file or an .aspx file, the change does not show in the browser. Not when I clear the browser's cache, not when I restart IIS (iisrestart). What could this possibly be?
PS. I have tried chrome and firefox

I work in VS 2008. Whenver I add a server control(Label) and set it properties in aspx.vb and build the solution, I get the error "Label1 not declared". While analyzing this issue I noticed that the event handler statements for the Label1 where not added in the designer.asp.vb file. These statement would actually be added automatically when I drag and drop a control to my webpage.
I would also like to inform the scenario after which this problem came to me. I was working in VS 2008 , VS 2005 and VS 2003 in the same machine.Could this have caused the issue ?
Now each and everytime when I add a control, I am adding the "With Events" code in the designer page to make my build succesfull which makes me to spend more efforts.

i have an button click event on the aspx page, the same aspx page load event i have hide the user control if the Session["Userid"] is empty, now the user can login from the same page, so after his successsfull login i show the usercontrol(in this user control i'm just show a Welcome message and logout button -in this user control also im checking if the userid is not found then hide the welcome message), but there is no data because while page load there is no data on session, so how to reload the usercontrol.

If I call newpage.aspx directly, I get a "URI Formats are not supported error"
I think its close, though. this solution is needed to get around the fact that skype does not have an https option for its skype buttons which tell the status of the skype user. Creating this proxy page will allow this to work without causing a 'mixed' security alert in the browser.

I have written a sample web service, which consist of certain .aspx pages. I have written a code to consume webmethods from that web service. Now, is it possible to load the aspx page which is a part of the web service from the calling web application i.e. from another aspx page which is outside the web service.
How this scenario is;

I have created a web application. I have a page "Default.aspx" and some other page say"test.aspx". In test.aspx, I am setting some values in a collection object and then setting this object in session. I am not getting but somehow during execution of test.aspx, the default.aspx gets called where the session containing object gets reset. Its very important for me to know whey this default.aspx gets called even I am not making any call to it. I have other pages also like a.aspx,b.aspx, c.aspx, d.aspx and many more. All other pages work fine.
