How To Develop A Webpage Using C# To Send An Email Message
Feb 26, 2010
I am hoping to upgrade the below two classic asp web pages to an asp.net web pages. The pages basically perform actions on incoming query string variables and also the login_fail_license.asp page sends us an email to inform us of certain situations. Currently they're a bit dated and I'm hoping to upgrade them to c# so I can fully understand what they are doing as we have been receiving strange IP addresses against our own license numbers (5000), I think the logic maybe wrong.
I'm working with a code that first upload a file to the server and after sends a email and attached is the file previously uploaded, It's working everything the only problem is that email message is duplicate.
my problem that i have 2 website on godaddy and i need to creat a web form for feedback just fill some fileds and send it by email message.
i tray several ways in code but no one work if there is any one have a website on godaddy and have a web form to send e-mail explain to me or put your code
In Visual Studio 2008 I am using an asp.net 3.5 listview control as my frontend to an sql server 2005 database backend. I am also using a linq to sql datacontext to query and perform all my backend CRUD commands. Within the OnInserted event of my linqdatasource I am assigning a query string variable (customer_id) to populate a child page (code below). This works perfectly. However, what I would also like to achieve within this event is to build an email body containing other database column references, from my insert, that will send an email to all the email addresses contained within a seperate column from another one of my db tables. Any ideas on how I can achieve this? C# code examples will be appreciated.
I have used this solution. And it's working fine for single id. But when i am using multiple id as reciepent mail id , it's mailing the text only to the first id. I am providing multiple id as below:
Here, if I place gmail id first and ymail id second, the would be send's only to gmail id not to ymail id, and same in case if I place ymail first and gmail second then mail send to ymail and not to gmail.
I want to put email button in my detail view form when user press email button it automatically move towards login when he enter the id pass automatically form attached of that detail view all this records n form is store in my database how can i make this possibel?
I am looking for a means by which ASP.NET can create an Outlook MailItem and stream it to the client machine for the user to review prior to sending. I know that its possible to create files such as Word docs and Excel spreadsheets an then stream them, but I don't know how to do it with ASP.NET.
I make one texbox and one button. What i want to realize is that people fill the message into textbox and then click button. The content of that message will automatically send to my email address.
For a certain project I need to be able to send the contents of a webpage to people who enter their e-mail address somewhere. For this I've scoured the internet and came upon a couple of possible sollutions. The first would be to use a scraper which would just look up the webpage and then mail the html contents to someone. The problem with this is that internet html (and more importantly css) and mail html might be completely different things when you look at outlook. This also takes the entire masterpage with it, while I pretty much just want the inner content.
Second sollution was completely rebuilding the pages in my mail function, based on a few given parameters. Seeing as there's many different types of pages that need to be sent, this would take ages to do...
Last sollution I came upon was manually calling rendercontrol. This actually seemed like a viable way of doing this, but of course, things go wrong. The structure of the website is as follows: Masterpage includes default.aspx, default.aspx has a placeholder which gets filled with a control I manually load (loadcontrol(path)) based on what page I need. This control is the one I need. My way of trying to render this control to send through mail is the following: first, I create a page, then I'll load the user control and finally I use UC.RenderControl(writer)
This does give me the basic html lay-out, but it seems that the Page_Load isn't being called, causing none of my variables to actually be filled in. Is there any way I can cause the control to be rendered just as if it were rendered inside a page's lifecycle?
can somebody tell me how to develop a message inbox in asp.net using c# e.g. on forums..we can receive messages in our inbox and we get a notification that "You have 1 unread message in the inbox" etc.
I'm seeking to develop Web page that has multiple Drop Down List (3 controls) bind with my database and these controls support AJAX and access my database using LINQ
e.g, when I select one of the control name : Class, then It should access the database then, display the department in this class in the next Drop Dawn List in the next control - ALL this without PostPacking this page and access the my database using LINQ.
I work now in a huge project that we build all interface as Web User Controls .. every time I want to view & test one i should add it in web page and then view .. I think in a way to develop a visual studio extension that show "View in Temp Web Page" when I make right click on a user control to allow me view user control in a generated temp web page without needing to add it in a test page each time i want to test but i don't know is there any way to achieve that ... Is it possible to develop such a thing ?
