I can find solution for 2.0 but not 1.1, but my office I am working at only use asp 1.1, I need to write asp that get a sql query result, transform it as an excel file then attach it in an email then send it. Hope someone knows how to do that with 1.1!

I currently have a page which displays a report of multiple tables with the data values in them based on two parameters selected in dropdowns.
Now, I need to generate the same report for each combination of the two parameters as a worksheet in an Excel workbook to be sent as an email attachment. This is to be automatically generated daily, and I'm using the Global.asax to do this task at 1 day intervals. So each sheet will display multiple tables, one below the next, just like they display on the web page where the user can go to view them on demand.
I've seen plenty of resources for exporting a gridview to Excel, where a user clicks and is prompted to download an Excel file, but this is different.

What I actually need is : when I click export button textbox data should be send to excel file and particular textbox data should be received at particular cell.
E.g:- textbox1 to send to c3 or c4

when i click mail button, that data should be send to excel and automailed as attachment, i have 3 excel files with different formats, export button should view all the excel files with their respective data and mail button should send mail the excel files with data ,

So i created a formated excelsheet2, where i am giving reference to excelsheet1 cells reference.
And I am sending email by attaching excelsheet2.
I am having issue when the data is updated, but my email attachment excel is showing old data. When i open the excelsheet1 it is being updated. I don't know why excelsheet2 is not updated automatically. I am using BIDS 2005 .

I give it as parameters the server name, report name, report parameters, etc. Works fine. My question is, I would live to do an analagous export of that report to Excel. Set it up exactly the same, but have it export to Excel rather than print, probably using some other type of object than RemoteReportPrinter.
