View 1 RepliesI have a page in which there are multiple updatepanels and each of these update panels are trigerred by different triggers.
These update panels are used to do Async post back and the page is updated with the data retrieved from the async post back.
Now the issue i am facing is that since there are multiple update panels, the update done by one panel is lost when the other panels does the post back.
let me know if any one knows on how to solve this issue.
I have two different repeater control which are in two different Update panel.I want to bind one Repeater value with another.But When i am using asyncPostBackTrigger or postbacktrigger it is reloading whole page.

I am going to insert Multiple record IN sql using storedProcedure from gridview...
for this purpose i am using cell concatinating method and send whole gridview cell data in string variable.
i have tried xml document method or sending data in table through looping as well but didn't satisfy from both of them... b/c concatinating method required a delimeter for seperation(for which i have restrict the user from that sepereator ) and xml method required an extra file which is not a efficient approach .

This works great. However, I have now been asked to have the form insert x number of records at one time.
They want to be able to fill out the following fields:
PONum
Location
Address
Description
and then have texbox where they can add a number and have that number of the same record inserted.
When processing many records starting from 10,000 System.OutOfMemoryExceptio get the error. There would be some way to handle this type of memory error ?.

I need a way of doing the following:
I receive data in .csv format. I have a some records on a table, so what I need to do is to check if the data I receive exist on the table of records that I need to match against.
If the record exist, then an email/sms should be sent to notify me that the records has been matched and then that record should be flaged that it has been tested so that I don't test it again as the incoming data are saved.

I wrote an ASP .NET database app, that store data in the database, for some reason, and i've tried all that I know, when two or more users submit info simultaneously, their data gets store wrong, i.e. the data gets mixed up.

I have a webform that populates a single table but due to certain dropdown data conditions it could also potentially populate 3 other tables
The tables information populates a gridview with amounts from accounts etc..
e.g.
Table 1
Site DataType account update
34 SS 12.50 N
Table 2
Site account
34 12.50
Say the above entry has the updated column changed to Y via the webform the amount 12.50 should disappear from the gridview. I was
a bit shortsighted and added the additional tables afterward. The information on the gridview pulls from the additional tables and since
the first table and the additional tables are not linked the data still stays the same in the gridview
I do have an Id column on both tables but unfortunately I added the rest of the tables after the first one so the Id's do not really match.
In general, If multiple users thru an application try to update the same tables in database simultaneously, then by default on what basis the priority will be given.Like if we don't have any extra logic for the locking implemented.

I created a table StudentAttendance with fields StudId, AttendanceDateTime,AttendanceStatus(True/False) bit data type.
I fetched students list in GridView from MyStudentList table and want to display editable CheckBox. I just see student and able to tick it. The entry should be inserted in StudentAttendance table.
How i can implement it. First I will try on it.
