JQuery :: Expand Accordion_container On Navigation From Another View In Mvc

I have ContentView which has 'Table of Contents' and another view (DescriptionView) which has the total description of these contents. Each content description in DescriptionView is in different sections and I have implemented accordion to manage this.

When I click on each content in ContentView I navigate to that particular section in the DescriptionView by the of the anchor tag which i specify in the url. My issue is I am not able to open that section which will be hided using accordion. Hope am successful in explaining my query.

I know this is a pretty basic question, but I don't know how to articulate what I want into a Google search to solve my problem.
I am working on a website for a Non-profit, and I am currently using Jquery and CSS to create a dynamic dropdown navigation bar. The code + examples can be found here: [URL]
The Nav menu works great, however when the elements expand, the new content forces the rest of the content on the page to move down and it messes up the entire formatting of the site. Most websites usually just have the Nav bar elements expand OVER the rest of the page without modifying locations...

I am using a SiteMap data source boudn to a navigation control. I would like to also put this in the footer (sort of like the bottom of Yahoo! pages) where all items are expanded and static.
So my major heading would be across the top (horizontal) and the sub items would be indented vertically below and always expanded. Is there a way to do this? Check out the bottom of the BlackBerry DEVCON 2010 site for an example:[URL]

I have a sitemap with about 50 nodes. I want to expand the nodes for specific links directly related to the node group to which the current page belongs. Currently, when I navigate to a page, all nodes are expanded by default. Is there a properly I can use to control this behavior?

I was browsing the net a week ago and now I cannot find the coolest menu I've ever seen. I can only describe it the best I can...
I know that it is a jQuery plugin, just don't know the name of it. It uses a left and right arrow to browse through a list of items, the item in the center is large, and all the items around it are smaller and somewhat transparent. When you click the arrow, the item to the left or right of center transitions into the center, and the rest of items rotate backward, in a circular motion. It is similar to a carousel, but the items are arranage in an oval/circular manner, and clicking the arrows left or right slide the next item to the center and make it larger.
If anyone knows what I am talking about that would be such a huge help!
Also, I am looking for a way to make a div with rounded corners with about a 10px transparent edge all the way around, but not transparent for the content inside the div.

I wrote below code for Collapse/Expand some section. It is working fine. Finally If I click "Save" button and I am re-loading page again in asp.net. So then sections are going default Colleapse again. I need them back to expand. How can I do that?

I am looking for a expand/collapse script for a grid view. But after searching around, seems like all sample code are for datagrid instead of grid view. And because there are differences between properties of gridview and datagrid, I can just implement it. Does anyone has any reference for grid view?

I'm very new to ASP.NET MVC and this is probably a really obvious thing...Basically, I can't access the "Forum" view which I had created inside "Home" folder (because I need a link to Forum on my main homepage.). I was wondering if it's okay to just move the Forum view into the Shared folder?
Is this somehow very bad practice? It seems like I have strong coupling now, because on the one hand the forum view gets called inside HomeController, and on the other hand it will pretty much always be used with ForumController from now on. So that might be unnecessary/wrong somehow?
edit: If I do this, the URLs change in a weird way, there must be a better solution right?
First when I click on forum link on main page, I'm at: /Home/Forum. I look at the forum, everything is fine.
Now I click on "Post a topic", and after the roundtrip I'm at /Forum/PostTopic.

I got it to work using AJAX Control Toolkit, but I find it a bit cumbersome and rather slow. I want to use JQuery for this one.
What I want to do is when the user clicks on <img>Expand/Collapse</img>, divChild will expand/collapse and that row of the GridView will also expand/collapse according to the size of its content.

Stylish Collapsible Fieldset using CSS3 and JQuery, I have created asp.net web form with collapsible fieldsets. In this when page loads all the fieldsets are collapsed/closed but when user clicks on any fieldset it becomes expand/open.
Now I want to and another feature that when user finishes entery data in the controls of first fieldset and he/she wants to move to the next fieldset then he/she can open it by just hitting/pressing tab from the keyboard.

How can you perform page navigation with Jquery tabs without the ajax events firing? Following the tutorial, I added

And I added hrefs to the tabs going to other pages. The problem is, I have ajax used on the page and onload it posts to the url with an ajax call. I was hoping to disable ajax altogether for the tabs and just use them for straight navigation so I can leverage the styles.

I'm trying to use jquery lightbox functionallity when a user clicks on a button in my View, to give a friendly message "Please wait whilst we generate your data etc" whilst the second view that contains a lot of data is being generated. I was hoping to have the friendly message stay on the screen until the second View is ready to be displayed. At the moment the form submit button fires the popup but the button itself is not getting clicked, only the surrounding anchor tag:

i've created a upload form for 1 image. after the image is stored on the filesystem i want to refresh the partial view (which then should display the image).
After uploading a image, jQuery runs the Url.Action but doesn't render the partial view which gets returned from the Action "WebAuftragImageRefresh"...
