I have a LoginView element in an Update panel and use JQuery to hide the div containing the update panel when the cancel button(Html) is clicked.
It works fine normally. However, when I enter an invalid password and there is an error message displayed, the Javascript attached to the Cancel button click stops firing.

I have a modalpopup that i have opening on a radiobutton selection. That works great, opens when it should and closes when you click cancel. BUT i have the following on my cancel button event that is not firing

I also have a button event for my "OK" button and that works great, but my cancel event doesnt seem to fire or work. Maybe the ClearSelection() is not what i need..
I want to clear the radiobutton if they cancel out of the ModalPopUp so they can make a new selection, since its a required field.

In my project when i click any button or linkbutton, it doesnt fire any event or doesnt postback.
It was working fine but now it hv problem like this.
I think i have changed some settings by mistake.

When you click the send button it fires a button click event of another asp:button ive got hidden on the page...

im using an update panel and my web form consists of textboxs and combo box, my problem is that when i click the button save for the first time, my page simply postbacks and the event save wouldnt fire, click it the second time and poof save will execute.. I notice that it is caused by my dropdown box and textbox autopostback function, i need to set this to true since i need to execute another function that will disable the dropdown when the textbox is filled and vice versa,set this to false and save will function normally..any ideas how to fix this?

When this submit button is clicked I want it to fire off some jQuery to update the controls on the front end (i.e. current page, set visibility of controls etc). View 3 RepliesI have a link button in a repeater control. the li element is drag and droppable using jquery. when the page loads the the link button works perfectly, the jquery that is attached and the server side code both execute. when I perform a drag and drop then click on the link button it doesnt not fire. when i click it a second time it does fire. If i perform 2 or drag and drops in a row the link button doesnt fire a as many drag adn drops as i before it will fire. for example if if perform 3 drag and drops then it will take about 3 click before the events are fired.

Currently, I am regenerating the table and storing it in a string and sending that as the body of the E-mail. What I would like to do instead is use JQuery's html function to grab the table markup of the page and store that in the variable to be used the e-mail body.

I have created an asp.net applications in which i am using jquery tabs to show say profile modifications information. I want user to see his profile info as well as he will be able to edit his details and save the information. for this purpose i have created an aspx page "MyProfile.aspx" and 3 ascx pages
say "page1", "page2" and "page3".
When i run "MyProfile.aspx" i can see all 3 tabs showing correct information. But problem is when i edit contents and try to save them back to the database. Contents on page1 are stored correctly. But page2 and page3 doest not fire any event. In all 3 pages I am using ajax n jquery to save data to database. and when i try to save contents of page2 and page3 nothing occurs.I am showing 3 tabs there of which first tab edits save the details but second and third tabs do not fire any event on button click.
I have a small website where I want to display a confirmation dialog after clicking on a button.
When you click the confirmButton the dialog appears. Then you can choose between Yes or No to either continue with the PostBack or to return.
Problem: The first time you get into the site all works fine. But after you click Yes to continue with the PostBack, no click event will be triggered anymore.

I have a linkbutton to which i am binding to the click event using jQuery, however the page still posts back no matter what i try...
According to this i should be able to use event.preventDefault However nothing seems to work and it always posts back, but i do get the alert

UPDATE
Okay after some further investigation it seems that this does work as expected when i run it in a standalone page, however we are using this script, and it appears that it is causing a conflict..
That script moves any href='javascript:... into the click handler, im guessing that the order the handlers are assigned may have something to do with it...
In a VS 2005 C# web app, I've implemented change monitoring, so that if the user clicks the Cancel button after having changed the value in one or more controls, they are presented with a dialog box in which to confirm that they really want to discard the unsaved changes. I've set up a utility class, which includes the code shown below. Each of my edit pages inherits from the utility class, and in each of their Page_Load() methods I include a call like this:
