MVC :: Using JQuery Table Paging Plugin For Partial View

I'm using JQuery table paging plugin for my partial view. There are two other partial views with buttons that update the result section, but only one of them works with JQuery paging. Firebug reports that '$ is not a function'. I loaded all the jquery libraries in the master page. What am I doing wrong?I tried reloading the libraries in the partial view but to no avail.

i've created a upload form for 1 image. after the image is stored on the filesystem i want to refresh the partial view (which then should display the image).
After uploading a image, jQuery runs the Url.Action but doesn't render the partial view which gets returned from the Action "WebAuftragImageRefresh"...

I am implementing jquery tabs with partial views in my project.I just tried the implemention mention in this link [URL]My tabs are working very fine.. my question is how can i send the model in that viewto partial view..i think we can do it by this syntax @Html.RenderPartial("Name",ObjectModel);In the above link Kevin created the tabs with only anchor tags... it will pick the partial view and how can i send the model to that partial view....

After wading through quite a few articles on creating modal forms (using partial views and jquery) I got things working fine for my login....as long as you enter a valid login though!
What I did:
Created a partial view containing my login form.
In my action controller, the get action just return a PartialViewResult, which get dealt with by a bit of jQuery in my master:[Code]....
Like I said this works fine. Now the post action of my login check if it's a valid login, and if so send the user to the passed returnurl or the home page.
However, if the validation fails, I now return the partial view again, which work , but the partial get displayed by itself instead of rendering in the modal form that was opened by jquery.

Do not know if you know this plugin but basically it displays a tree.I'm having trouble using it, and would like your help to use this plugin.This link has a presentation of the plugin.Basically I have the project groups and projects where I display the tree, each project within their respective group. And once the user clicks on the group, the group is expanded showing all projects that group.Here is an example of use.

've created a Search partial view and it works, except for my view model. What i mean is, the partial view sends a string to my ActionResult Method, but only a string, that is not related to the view model that the partial view is built in. If i tell my ActionResult method to receive the view model in which the partial view is built in, it always tells me that i have null values. Here's my code This is my partial view:

I am trying to use a jQuery plugin in a control. The pages that the control can be on use partial postbacks via an UpdatePanel. I include jQuery and the plugin during the control's PreRender event like this:

The customPlugin jQuery plugin sets up a new function called "executeCustomPlugin". Later in the PreRender event of the control, I use the plugin on an element on the control:

However, when it executes, I get the JavaScript error:

It would seem as if the jQuery plugin is never executed at all, but I set up window.alerts in the jQuery.customPlugin.js file, and it is indeed being executed.
Is there a way to fix this problem?

making my first steps with asp.net mvc and I actually create a (very) small website.I have 1 controller : TasksController1 view : Tasks/Index.aspx1 Partial View : Tasks/AvailableSorting.ascx In my controller I have 2 methods :

In my Tasks/Index.aspx, I add my partial view (<% Html.RenderPartial("AvaliableSorting"); %>)
That sounds simple. But, It just doesn't work : the Index return a list of Task and the parial view (should) return a list of string.The index.aspx works perfectly, but the partial view doesn't get the right model ! he gets the model of the Index page (list of Task).

However, if the partial view updates the data, those updates affect only the partial view's ViewData object. The parent view's data is not changed."Is there a common way around this? For instance I have a View containing two Partial Views (User Controls) that source the same data from the Parents ViewData. The first Partial View is able to update (add/delete) certain data from the Parents View Data, however the second Partial View sources the same data but obviously isn't reflecting the changes owing to the above MSDN statement.
